Surah Al-Burooj سُورَةُ البُرُوجِ

وَٱلسَّمَاۤءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ ﴿١﴾

Eebe wuxuu ku dhaartay Samada Xiddigaha leh (iyo Jidadkooda)

By the sky containing great stars

وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ ﴿٢﴾

Iyo Maalinta laysu yaboohay (qiyaamada)

And [by] the promised Day

وَشَاهِدࣲ وَمَشۡهُودࣲ ﴿٣﴾

Iyo Dadka joogsan Maalintaas iyo waxayaalaha iman Maalintaas

And [by] the witness and what is witnessed

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ ﴿٤﴾

Ee Lacnadi ha ku dhacdo kuwii Godka lahaa (Mu'miniinta lagu cadibo)

Cursed were the companions of the trench

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ ﴿٥﴾

Ee ahaa Naar olal (iyo shidaal) leh

[Containing] the fire full of fuel

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَیۡهَا قُعُودࣱ ﴿٦﴾

Gaaladiina ay korfadiyeen Godka

When they were sitting near it

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ شُهُودࣱ ﴿٧﴾

iyagoo daawan waxa lagu fali Mu'miniinta «oo Jirrabaad ah»

And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses

وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّاۤ أَن یُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ ﴿٨﴾

Waxay ku neceen Dadkaasna ma jiro oon ahayn inay rumeeyeen Eebaha adkaada ee la mahadiyo

And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy

ٱلَّذِی لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ شَهِیدٌ ﴿٩﴾

Ee leh Samada iyo Dhulka xukunkooda, Eebana wax walba wuu u jeedaa

To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ یَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِیقِ ﴿١٠﴾

Kuwa Mu'miniinta Rag iyo Haweenba jirraba haddana aan tawbadkeenin waxay mudan Caddibaadda Jahannamo iyo caddibaad gubi

Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣱ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِیرُ ﴿١١﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyey Camalfiicana falay waxay mudan Jannooyin ay dureeri dhexdeeda Wabiyaal, taasina waa liibaan wayn

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِیدٌ ﴿١٢﴾

Qabashada Eebana (Ciqaabtiisu) way darantahay

Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ یُبۡدِئُ وَیُعِیدُ ﴿١٣﴾

Eebe isagaa khalqiga ahaysiiyay soona celin

Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats

وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ ﴿١٤﴾

Waana dambidhaaf badane jecel (kuwa addeeca)

And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate

ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِیدُ ﴿١٥﴾

Carshiga sharafta lahna isagaa iska leh

Honorable Owner of the Throne

فَعَّالࣱ لِّمَا یُرِیدُ ﴿١٦﴾

Wuuna falaa wuxuu doono

Effecter of what He intends

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِیثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ ﴿١٧﴾

Ma ku soo gaadhay warkii Junuuddii (Gaaladii)

Has there reached you the story of the soldiers

فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ ﴿١٨﴾

Fircoon iyo Thamuud

[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud

بَلِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِی تَكۡذِیبࣲ ﴿١٩﴾

Hase yeeshee kuwii Gaaloobay waxay ku suganyihiin beenin (xaqa)

But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial

وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَاۤئِهِم مُّحِیطُۢ ﴿٢٠﴾

Eebana waa koobay (kamana baxsadaan)

While Allah encompasses them from behind

بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانࣱ مَّجِیدࣱ ﴿٢١﴾

Waase Quraan sharaf leh

But this is an honored Qur'an

فِی لَوۡحࣲ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ ﴿٢٢﴾

Oo ku Qoran Ioox la dhawray (looxulmaxfuudka)

[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate
