Surah Al-Inshiqaaq سُورَةُ الانشِقَاقِ

۞ إِذَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ ٱنشَقَّتۡ ﴿١﴾

Marka Samadu jeexjeexanto (qiyaamada)

When the sky has split [open]

وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ ﴿٢﴾

Oy Eebe Addeecdo waana xaq addeeciddiisunee

And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

وَإِذَا ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡ ﴿٣﴾

Marka dhulka la fidiyo (qiyaamada)

And when the earth has been extended

وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِیهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡ ﴿٤﴾

Oo uu soo tuuro waxa ku hoos jira, kana madhnaado

And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]

وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ ﴿٥﴾

Oos Eeba Addeeco waana xaq adeeciddaasina. (wuxuu la kulmi Ruuxwalba Camalkiisa)

And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدۡحࣰا فَمُلَـٰقِیهِ ﴿٦﴾

Dadow waxaad u dhibboon ood u camalfali xagga Eebe, waadna la kulmi

O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِیَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِیَمِینِهِۦ ﴿٧﴾

Ruusiise Kitaabkiisa (fiican) Midigta laga siiyo (waa mu'minkee)

Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand

فَسَوۡفَ یُحَاسَبُ حِسَابࣰا یَسِیرࣰا ﴿٨﴾

Waxaa la xisaabin xisaab fudud

He will be judged with an easy account

وَیَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورࣰا ﴿٩﴾

Wuxuuna ku noqon Ciddiisii (Jannada joogtay) isagoo faraxsan

And return to his people in happiness

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِیَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ وَرَاۤءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦ ﴿١٠﴾

Ruuxiise Kitaabkiisa laga siiyo gadaashiisa (waa Dadka xune)

But as for he who is given his record behind his back

فَسَوۡفَ یَدۡعُوا۟ ثُبُورࣰا ﴿١١﴾

Wuxuu u yeedhan Halaag

He will cry out for destruction

وَیَصۡلَىٰ سَعِیرًا ﴿١٢﴾

Wuxuuna gali Naarta Saciira

And [enter to] burn in a Blaze

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِیۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا ﴿١٣﴾

Maxaa yeelay Markuu dadkiisii dhexjoogay yuu kabirsanaa (Adduunkii)

Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness

إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن یَحُورَ ﴿١٤﴾

Wuxuuna malaynhayay inuusan Eebe u soo noqonaynin (qiyaame)

Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]

بَلَىٰۤۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِیرࣰا ﴿١٥﴾

Saas ma ahee Eebe waa arkaa

But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing

فَلَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ ﴿١٦﴾

Waxaan ku dhaartay «buu yidhi Eebe» Midabka Qorrax dhaca

So I swear by the twilight glow

وَٱلَّیۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ﴿١٧﴾

Iyo Habeenka iyo wuxuu qariyay

And [by] the night and what it envelops

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ ﴿١٨﴾

Iyo Dayaxa markuu Nuurku buux Samo

And [by] the moon when it becomes full

لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقࣲ ﴿١٩﴾

Ee Dadkow waxaad koraysaan xaalado kala duwan

[That] you will surely experience state after state

فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Dadka maxaa u sugnaaday oy la rumaynwaayeen (xaqa)

So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا یَ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅نَ̅ ۩ ﴿٢١﴾

Marka Quraanka lagu akhriyana ayna u sujuudaynin

And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]

بَلِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ یُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Saas ma ahee kuwa Gaaloobay waxay beenin (xaqa)

But those who have disbelieved deny

وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یُوعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

Eebana waa ogyahay waxay qarsan

And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves

فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِیمٍ ﴿٢٤﴾

Ugu bishaaree caddibaad daran

So give them tidings of a painful punishment

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَیۡرُ مَمۡنُونِۭ ﴿٢٥﴾

Hase yeeshee kuwa rumeeyay xaqa camalfiicanna falay waxay mudan Ajri aan go'aynin

Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted
