Surah Ar-Rahmaan سُورَةُ الرَّحۡمَٰن

۞ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ ﴿١﴾

(Eebaha) Raxmaan ah

The Most Merciful

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ﴿٢﴾

Wuxuu baray (Nabiga iyo dadka kalaba) Quraanka

Taught the Qur'an

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ ﴿٣﴾

Dadkana wuu abuuray

Created man

عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَیَانَ ﴿٤﴾

Wuxuuna baray dadka (Hadalka)

[And] taught him eloquence

ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانࣲ ﴿٥﴾

Qorraxda iyo dayaxuna waxay ku socdaan xisaab

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation

وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ یَسۡجُدَانِ ﴿٦﴾

Xiddigga iyo Geedkuba way Sujuudaan (Eebe Dartiis)

And the stars and trees prostrate

وَٱلسَّمَاۤءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِیزَانَ ﴿٧﴾

Samadana Eebaa koryeelay, Garsoorna wuu dajiyay

And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡا۟ فِی ٱلۡمِیزَانِ ﴿٨﴾

Si aydaan uga gudbin Caddaaladda

That you not transgress within the balance

وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُوا۟ ٱلۡمِیزَانَ ﴿٩﴾

Miisaanka ku hagaajiya Caddaalad, hana nuqaamininna

And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ ﴿١٠﴾

Dhulkana Eebe wuxuu u dajiyay khalqiga

And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures

فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ﴿١١﴾

Dhexdiisa waxaa ah Faakihad (khudaar) iyo Timir Fiido leh

Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّیۡحَانُ ﴿١٢﴾

Xubuubna (midho) ball leh iyo udgoona wuu abuuray

And grain having husks and scented plants

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٣﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan (Insi iyo Jinniyow)

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَـٰلࣲ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ ﴿١٤﴾

Dadka Eebaa ka abuuray dhoobo Jilay oo kale ah

He created man from clay like [that of] pottery

وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَاۤنَّ مِن مَّارِجࣲ مِّن نَّارࣲ ﴿١٥﴾

Jaankana wuxuu ka abuuray ololka Naarta

And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٦﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَیۡنِ ﴿١٧﴾

Ilaaheen waa Eebaha Labada Qorrax ka soo bax iyo Labada Qorrax u dhac

[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٨﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَیۡنِ یَلۡتَقِیَانِ ﴿١٩﴾

Eebe waan kan Labada Badood dariseeyey iyagoo kulmi

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]

بَیۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخࣱ لَّا یَبۡغِیَانِ ﴿٢٠﴾

Dhexdoodana yeelay soohdin (kala reebta) iskumana xadgudbaan

Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢١﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ﴿٢٢﴾

Waxaa lagala baxaa Baddaas Lu'Lu'iyo Murjaan (Jawhar)

From both of them emerge pearl and coral

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٣﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَءَاتُ فِی ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَـٰمِ ﴿٢٤﴾

Eebe waxaa u sugnaaday Doomaha socda Badda oo Buuro la mid ah

And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٥﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَیۡهَا فَانࣲ ﴿٢٦﴾

Dhammaan waxa (Dhulka) korkiisa ah wuu tagi

Everyone upon the earth will perish

وَیَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ﴿٢٧﴾

Waxaase hadhi Eebaha wayn ee sharafta leh

And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٨﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

یَسۡءَلُهُۥ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ یَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِی شَأۡنࣲ ﴿٢٩﴾

Waxaa Eebe wax waydiista Samada iyo Dhulka waxa ku sugan, goorwalbana wuxuu maamuli arrin

Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٠﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَیُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ ﴿٣١﴾

Waana idin xisaabin si dhab ah Insi iyo Jinniyow

We will attend to you, O prominent beings

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٢﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

یَـٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ ﴿٣٣﴾

Jinni iyo Insiyow haddaad kartaan inaad ka baxdaan Samada Hajooyinkooda iyo Dhulka ka baxa, kamana bixikartaan xujo la'aan

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٤﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

یُرۡسَلُ عَلَیۡكُمَا شُوَاظࣱ مِّن نَّارࣲ وَنُحَاسࣱ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ ﴿٣٥﴾

Eebe (hadduu doono) wuxuu idinku diri Olol Naar ah, iyo Maar (la dhalaaliyay) umana gargaarsanaysaan

There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٦﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةࣰ كَٱلدِّهَانِ ﴿٣٧﴾

Markay Samadu dillaacdo oy noqoto ubax guduudan oo subag la mid ah (dhalaasho) markaas dadkaa la abaalmarin

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٨﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فَیَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّا یُسۡءَلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦۤ إِنسࣱ وَلَا جَاۤنࣱّ ﴿٣٩﴾

Maalintaas Ruux la warsan dambigiisa Insi iyo Jinniba ma jiro

Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٠﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

یُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِیمَـٰهُمۡ فَیُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَ ٰصِی وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ ﴿٤١﴾

Dambiilayaasha waxaa lagu aqoonsan astaamahooda, waxaana la qaban Foodda iyo gommadaha (Naartaana lagu tuuri)

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٢﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِی یُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

Tani waa Jahannamadii ay beeniyeen Dambiilayaashu (yaa lagu dhihi)

This is Hell, which the criminals deny

یَطُوفُونَ بَیۡنَهَا وَبَیۡنَ حَمِیمٍ ءَانࣲ ﴿٤٤﴾

Waxay ku meereysan Jahannamo iyo biyo kulayl daran dhexdooda

They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٥﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ ﴿٤٦﴾

Ruuxii ka yaaba Eebe hor istaaggiisa wuxuu mudan Laba Janno

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٧﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

ذَوَاتَاۤ أَفۡنَانࣲ ﴿٤٨﴾

Jannooyinkaas oo midabyo leh (iyo Laamo)

Having [spreading] branches

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٩﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِیهِمَا عَیۡنَانِ تَجۡرِیَانِ ﴿٥٠﴾

Waxaa laga helaa ilo socda

In both of them are two springs, flowing

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥١﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِیهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةࣲ زَوۡجَانِ ﴿٥٢﴾

Waxaa laga helaa nooc kasta oo Faakiha ah (Khudaar ah)

In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٣﴾

Nimcooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

مُتَّكِءِینَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَاۤئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقࣲۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَیۡنِ دَانࣲ ﴿٥٤﴾

Waxay ku dangiigsan (ehlu Jannuhu) Gogol ay tahay hoosteedo istabraq (xariir) Midhaha Jannooyinku waa u dhawyihiin

[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٥﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِیهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَ ٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ یَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَاۤنࣱّ ﴿٥٦﴾

Jannooyinka iyo Firaashka waxaa ku sugan Haween Indha waawayn oo dhawrsoon oosan taabanin horay Insi iyo Jinni midna

In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٧﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡیَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ﴿٥٨﴾

Waxaad moodaa Haweenkaas Yaaquut iyo Murjaan (Jawhar midab leh)

As if they were rubies and coral

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٩﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

هَلۡ جَزَاۤءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنُ ﴿٦٠﴾

Wanaag abaalkiisu soo wanaag ma aha

Is the reward for good [anything] but good

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦١﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ ﴿٦٢﴾

Waxay heli Labadaas Janno ka sokow kuwa kale

And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٣﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

مُدۡهَاۤمَّتَانِ ﴿٦٤﴾

Waana Laba Jannoo madow (cagaaran)

Dark green [in color]

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٥﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِیهِمَا عَیۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ ﴿٦٦﴾

Waxaa dhexdeeda ah Laba ilood oo burqan

In both of them are two springs, spouting

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٧﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِیهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَنَخۡلࣱ وَرُمَّانࣱ ﴿٦٨﴾

Dhexdooda waxaa ah Faakihad (khudrad) iyo Timir iyo Rummaan

In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٩﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِیهِنَّ خَیۡرَ ٰتٌ حِسَانࣱ ﴿٧٠﴾

Dhexdooda waxaa ah Haween khayr leh oo Quruxsan

In them are good and beautiful women

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧١﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

حُورࣱ مَّقۡصُورَ ٰتࣱ فِی ٱلۡخِیَامِ ﴿٧٢﴾

Waa Haween Indhacad oo Gurigooda jooga

Fair ones reserved in pavilions

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧٣﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

لَمۡ یَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَاۤنࣱّ ﴿٧٤﴾

Waa Haween uusan horay u taabanin Insi iyo Jinni midna

Untouched before them by man or jinni

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧٥﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

مُتَّكِءِینَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرࣲ وَعَبۡقَرِیٍّ حِسَانࣲ ﴿٧٦﴾

Waxayna ehlu-Jannuhu ku dangiigsan Barkimo cagaaran iyo Gogol Quruxsan

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets

فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧٧﴾

Nicmooyinka Eebe teebaad beeninaysaan

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِی ٱلۡجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ﴿٧٨﴾

Waxaa barakadiisu badnaatay Magaca Eebaha wayn ee shrafta leh

Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
