Surah Al-Muzzammil سُورَةُ المُزَّمِّلِ

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلۡمُزَّمِّلُ ﴿١﴾

(Nabiga) Isduuduubayow

O you who wraps himself [in clothing]

قُمِ ٱلَّیۡلَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا ﴿٢﴾

Istaag habeenka (Tuko) wax yar Mooyee

Arise [to pray] the night, except for a little

نِّصۡفَهُۥۤ أَوِ ٱنقُصۡ مِنۡهُ قَلِیلًا ﴿٣﴾

Nuskiisa tuko ama ka nusqaami wax yar

Half of it - or subtract from it a little

أَوۡ زِدۡ عَلَیۡهِ وَرَتِّلِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَرۡتِیلًا ﴿٤﴾

Ama ka badi, Quraanku u akhri si fiican

Or add to it, and recite the Qur'an with measured recitation

إِنَّا سَنُلۡقِی عَلَیۡكَ قَوۡلࣰا ثَقِیلًا ﴿٥﴾

Annagaa Kugu Dakin Hadal Culus (wayne)

Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word

إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ ٱلَّیۡلِ هِیَ أَشَدُّ وَطۡءࣰا وَأَقۡوَمُ قِیلًا ﴿٦﴾

Habeenka Saacadihiisa (oo la tukado) yaa ku daran khushuucda Aadna u toosan

Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and tongue] and more suitable for words

إِنَّ لَكَ فِی ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبۡحࣰا طَوِیلࣰا ﴿٧﴾

Maalintii waxaa kuu sugnaaday shaqa Dheer

Indeed, for you by day is prolonged occupation

وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلۡ إِلَیۡهِ تَبۡتِیلࣰا ﴿٨﴾

Magaca Eebana xus cibaadadiisana u go

And remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with [complete] devotion

رَّبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱتَّخِذۡهُ وَكِیلࣰا ﴿٩﴾

Qorrax ka soobax iyo u Dhaeba Eebaa iska leh, isaga Mooyee ilaah kalena ma jiro ee ka yeelo wakiil (la cuskado)

[He is] the Lord of the East and the West; there is no deity except Him, so take Him as Disposer of [your] affairs

وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَقُولُونَ وَٱهۡجُرۡهُمۡ هَجۡرࣰا جَمِیلࣰا ﴿١٠﴾

kuna Samir waxay sheegi gaaladu, si Quruxsanna uga hijroo (iskaga tag)

And be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance

وَذَرۡنِی وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ أُو۟لِی ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ قَلِیلًا ﴿١١﴾

Isu kaanna daa aniga iyo kuwa Beeniyay xaqa ee Nicmaysan wax yarna Sug

And leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little

إِنَّ لَدَیۡنَاۤ أَنكَالࣰا وَجَحِیمࣰا ﴿١٢﴾

Agtannada waxaa ah caddibaad iyo Naarta Jaxiimo

Indeed, with Us [for them] are shackles and burning fire

وَطَعَامࣰا ذَا غُصَّةࣲ وَعَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا ﴿١٣﴾

Iyo cunno lagu Margado iyo Cadaab daran

And food that chokes and a painful punishment

یَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَثِیبࣰا مَّهِیلًا ﴿١٤﴾

(waxay ku dhiei Arrintaasu) Maalinta Dhulka iyo Buuruhu Gilgilan, Buuruhuna ay noqon Tamuux socda

On the Day the earth and the mountains will convulse and the mountains will become a heap of sand pouring down

إِنَّاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكُمۡ رَسُولࣰا شَـٰهِدًا عَلَیۡكُمۡ كَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ رَسُولࣰا ﴿١٥﴾

Annagaa idiin dirray Rasuul markhaati ah, sidaan ugu dirray fircoonba Rasuul

Indeed, We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness upon you just as We sent to Pharaoh a messenger

فَعَصَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُ أَخۡذࣰا وَبِیلࣰا ﴿١٦﴾

Fircoonna wuu Caasiyay Rasuulkii (Nabi Muuse). Firconna waxaan ku Qabannay qabasha Daran

But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We seized him with a ruinous seizure

فَكَیۡفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ یَوۡمࣰا یَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡوِلۡدَ ٰنَ شِیبًا ﴿١٧﴾

Ee seebaad Gaalloy uga dhawrsanaysaan Caddibaadda Maalinta qiyaame ee carruurta Cirroole ka Yeeli Hadaad Gaalawdaan

Then how can you fear, if you disbelieve, a Day that will make the children white- haired

ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ مُنفَطِرُۢ بِهِۦۚ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَفۡعُولًا ﴿١٨﴾

Samaduna Maalintaas Darteed ay la Dildillaaci Balaanqaadka Eebana waa wax Dhici

The heaven will break apart therefrom; ever is His promise fulfilled

إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةࣱۖ فَمَن شَاۤءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِیلًا ﴿١٩﴾

Aayadahani Waa waano Ee Ruuxii Doona Eeba xaggiisa jid ha uga yeesho

Indeed, this is a reminder, so whoever wills may take to his Lord a way

۞ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ یَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَیِ ٱلَّیۡلِ وَنِصۡفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَاۤئِفَةࣱ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ مَعَكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ یُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّیۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ فَٱقۡرَءُوا۟ مَا تَیَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَیَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرۡضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ یَضۡرِبُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ یَبۡتَغُونَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ یُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَٱقۡرَءُوا۟ مَا تَیَسَّرَ مِنۡهُۚ وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقۡرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنࣰاۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَیۡرࣲ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَیۡرࣰا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرࣰاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمُۢ ﴿٢٠﴾

Eebahaa wuxuu ogyahay Nabiyow inaad tukatid wax ka yar habeenka saddex Meelood laba iyo Badhkiis iyo saddex meelood meel, iyo in koox ka mida kuwa kula jira ay tukato, Eebana waa u qadaranyahay Habeenka iyo Maalintuba, wuxuuna Ogyahay inaydaan Koobi karin, wuuna Idinka toobad aqbalay ee Akhriya wixii idiin Fududaada oo quraan ah, wuxuu Eebe ogyahay inay idin ka mid Noqon kuwa Buka iyo kuwo safri iyagoo dooni Khayrka Eebe iyo kuwo u dagaallami Jidka Eebe ee akhriya wixii idiin Fududaada oo Quraan ah, Salaaddana ooga Zakadana Bixiya Eebana wax wanaagsan daynsada Waxaad naftiinna u hormarsataan oo khayr ahna waxaad ka ogaandoontaan kana Heleysaan Eeba Agtiisa Isagoo khayr ah iyo Ajri wayn, ee Eebe Dambi dhaaf waydiista waa Dambi Dhaafe Naxariiste

Indeed, your Lord knows, [O Muhammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you [Muslims] will not be able to do it and has turned to you in forgiveness, so recite what is easy [for you] of the Qur'an. He has known that there will be among you those who are ill and others traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of Allah and others fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakah and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful
