Surah Nooh سُورَةُ نُوحٍ

إِنَّاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦۤ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ ﴿١﴾

Annagaa Nabi Nuux u dirray Qoomkiisii si uu ugu digo Caddibaadda horteed

Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment

قَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّی لَكُمۡ نَذِیرࣱ مُّبِینٌ ﴿٢﴾

Wuxuuna ku yidhi Qoomkayow waxaan idiin ahay dige Cad «oo muuqda»

He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner

أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِیعُونِ ﴿٣﴾

ee Eebe Caabuda kana dhawrsada'anigana i adeeca

[Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me

یَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَیُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَاۤءَ لَا یُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Wuu idiin dambi dhaafi wuuna idin dib dhigi ilaa muddo Magacaaban, marka Eebe la yimaaddo ajasha wax dib u dhigi ma jiro haddaad wax ogtihiin

Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّی دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِی لَیۡلࣰا وَنَهَارࣰا ﴿٥﴾

Nabi Nuux wuxuu yiri Eebbow waan u yeeray Qoomkaygii Habeen iyo dharaar

He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day

فَلَمۡ یَزِدۡهُمۡ دُعَاۤءِیۤ إِلَّا فِرَارࣰا ﴿٦﴾

Yeedhiddayduna uma siyaadinin waxaan caraar ahayn

But my invitation increased them not except in flight

وَإِنِّی كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوۤا۟ أَصَـٰبِعَهُمۡ فِیۤ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡا۟ ثِیَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّوا۟ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰا ﴿٧﴾

Markasta oo aan u yeedhana si aad ugu dambi dhaafto waxay farahooda yeelaan dhagahooda, maryahoodana way isku dadaan, wayna ku Madax adaygaan xumaanta wayna is weyneeyaan

And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance

ثُمَّ إِنِّی دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ جِهَارࣰا ﴿٨﴾

si kor ah yaan ugu yeedhay, «dadka dhexdiisa»

Then I invited them publicly

ثُمَّ إِنِّیۤ أَعۡلَنتُ لَهُمۡ وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِسۡرَارࣰا ﴿٩﴾

Waana u qaylyey, hoosna waan ugu yeeray

Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly

فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارࣰا ﴿١٠﴾

Waxaana ku idhi Eebihiin dambi dhaaf weydiista waa dambi dhaaf badance

And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver

یُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَاۤءَ عَلَیۡكُم مِّدۡرَارࣰا ﴿١١﴾

Cirkana Roob badan ha idinka keenee

He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers

وَیُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَ ٰلࣲ وَبَنِینَ وَیَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَیَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَـٰرࣰا ﴿١٢﴾

Hana idiin kordhiyo Xoolo iyo Wiilal iyo Beero hana idiin yeelo Wabi yaal

And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers

مَّا لَكُمۡ لَا تَرۡجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارࣰا ﴿١٣﴾

Maxaad leedihiin ood weynida Eebe uga cabsoon weydeen

What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur

وَقَدۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ أَطۡوَارًا ﴿١٤﴾

Isagoo idin abuuray idinkoo soo maray Xaalado kala duwan

While He has created you in stages

أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡا۟ كَیۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَـٰوَ ٰتࣲ طِبَاقࣰا ﴿١٥﴾

Miyaydaan arkaynin sida Eebe u Abuuray toddoba Samo oo isdulsaaran

Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers

وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِیهِنَّ نُورࣰا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجࣰا ﴿١٦﴾

Dayaxana uga yeelay Dhexdooda Nuur, qorraxdana ka yeelay siraad

And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp

وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتࣰا ﴿١٧﴾

Eebe waa Kan idinka soo Bixiyay Dhulka

And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth

ثُمَّ یُعِیدُكُمۡ فِیهَا وَیُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجࣰا ﴿١٨﴾

Haddana idinku Celin doona Dhexdiisa idinkana soo bixindoona

Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطࣰا ﴿١٩﴾

Eebe waa kan Idiinka yeelay Dhulka gogol

And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse

لِّتَسۡلُكُوا۟ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰا فِجَاجࣰا ﴿٢٠﴾

Si aad ugu socotaan Dhexdiisa waddooyin waawayn

That you may follow therein roads of passage

قَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِی وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَن لَّمۡ یَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥۤ إِلَّا خَسَارࣰا ﴿٢١﴾

(Nabi) Nuux wuxuu yidhi Eebow way I caasiyeen waxayna Raaceen kuwo aan xoolohoodu iyo Carrurtoodu waxaan khasaara ahayn u kordhinaynin

Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss

وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكۡرࣰا كُبَّارࣰا ﴿٢٢﴾

Dhagar waynna way Dhakreen

And they conspired an immense conspiracy

وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدࣰّا وَلَا سُوَاعࣰا وَلَا یَغُوثَ وَیَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرࣰا ﴿٢٣﴾

Waxay isu Dheheen ha ka tagina Ilaahyaalkiinna, hana ka Tagina wuddi iyo suwaax iyo yaguuth, iyo Yacuuq iyo Nasri

And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr

وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّوا۟ كَثِیرࣰاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ إِلَّا ضَلَـٰلࣰا ﴿٢٤﴾

Waxayna Dhumiyeen dad Badan ee Eebow ha kordhinnin Daalimiinta waxaan baadi ahayn

And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error

مِّمَّا خَطِیۤءَـٰتِهِمۡ أُغۡرِقُوا۟ فَأُدۡخِلُوا۟ نَارࣰا فَلَمۡ یَجِدُوا۟ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارࣰا ﴿٢٥﴾

Gafkoodi Dartiis yaa loo Maansheeyay Naarna Loo Galiyey, mana helayaan Eebe ka soke gargaare

Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers

وَقَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ دَیَّارًا ﴿٢٦﴾

Nuux wuxuu yidhi Eebow ha kaga tagin Dhulka korkiisa Gaalada Ruxna

And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant

إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرۡهُمۡ یُضِلُّوا۟ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا یَلِدُوۤا۟ إِلَّا فَاجِرࣰا كَفَّارࣰا ﴿٢٧﴾

Maxaayeelay Hadaad kaga tagto waxay Dhumin Addomahaaga, mana dhalayaan waxaan gaal xun ahayn

Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever

رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِی وَلِوَ ٰلِدَیَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَیۡتِیَ مُؤۡمِنࣰا وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا ﴿٢٨﴾

Eeboow u dambi Dhaaf Aniga iyo waalidiintay iyo ruuxii gala gurigeyga isagoo Mu'min ah Raf iyo haweenba, hana u kordhinnin Daalimiinta waxaan halaag ahayn

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction
