Surah Al-Munaafiqoon سُورَةُ المُنَافِقُونَ

إِذَا جَاۤءَكَ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقُونَ قَالُوا۟ نَشۡهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ یَعۡلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ یَشۡهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ ﴿١﴾

Markay kuu timaadaan (Nabiyow) munaafiqiintu waxay dhihi waxaan marag ka nahay inaad tahay Rasuul Eebe, Ilaahayna waa ogyahay inaad tahay, rasuulkiisii Eebana wuxuu marag ka yahay inay Munaafiqiintu beenaalayaal yihiin (xaqa niyada)

When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars

ٱتَّخَذُوۤا۟ أَیۡمَـٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةࣰ فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمۡ سَاۤءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿٢﴾

Dhaartooda (beenta ah) yey ka dhigteen gaashaan, dadkane waxay ka iileen Jidkii Eebe, waxay samayna aad buu u xunyahay

They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا یَفۡقَهُونَ ﴿٣﴾

Saas waxaa ugu wacan inay (xaga muuqda) rumeeyeen haddana (hoosta) ka gaaloobeen, Quluubtoodana waa la daabacay (la daboolay) wax xaq ahna ma kasayaan

That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand

۞ وَإِذَا رَأَیۡتَهُمۡ تُعۡجِبُكَ أَجۡسَامُهُمۡۖ وَإِن یَقُولُوا۟ تَسۡمَعۡ لِقَوۡلِهِمۡۖ كَأَنَّهُمۡ خُشُبࣱ مُّسَنَّدَةࣱۖ یَحۡسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَیۡحَةٍ عَلَیۡهِمۡۚ هُمُ ٱلۡعَدُوُّ فَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡۚ قَـٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ یُؤۡفَكُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Haddaad aragto Munaafiqiinta waad la yaabi Jidhkooda, muuqooda, hadday hadlaanna waad dhagaysan hadalkooda, waxaadse moodaa dogobyo la tiirtiiriyey, qayladii yeedhabana way ka cabsadaan, waa Col kuwaasi, Eebena ha lacnado ee xagee loo duufsan

And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا۟ یَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوۡا۟ رُءُوسَهُمۡ وَرَأَیۡتَهُمۡ یَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ﴿٥﴾

Marka lagu dhaho Munaafiqiinta kaalaya ha idiin dambi dhaaf weydiiye Rasuulka Eebe waxay ruxaan Madaxa (diico darteed) waxaad aragtaa iyagoo jeedsan oo iskibrin

And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant

سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ أَسۡتَغۡفَرۡتَ لَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ لَن یَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ﴿٦﴾

Waa isku mid haddaad u dambi dhaaf weydiisid (Nabiyow) iyo haddii kale, marnaba Eebe u dambi dhaafi mahayo, maxaa yeelay Eebe ma hanuuniyo dad Faasiqiin ah

It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allah forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people

هُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ یَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَنۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ یَنفَضُّوا۟ۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَاۤئِنُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ لَا یَفۡقَهُونَ ﴿٧﴾

Waa kuwa dhihi (Munaafiqiintu) ha quudinina kuwa Rasuulka la jooga intay ka kala tagaan, Eebaa iska leh khasnadaha Samaawaatka iyo Dhulka, haseyeeshee Munaafiqiintu ma fahansana

They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand

یَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعۡنَاۤ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِینَةِ لَیُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٨﴾

Munaafiqiintu waa kuwa dhihi haddaan Madiino u noqonno waa in kuwa tabarta lihi ka bixiyaan Magaalada kuwa dullaysan, tabar iyo Sharaf Eebaa iska leh Rasuulkiisa iyo Mu'miniinta, haseyeeshee Munaafiqiintu ma oga

They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ أَمۡوَ ٰلُكُمۡ وَلَاۤ أَوۡلَـٰدُكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن یَفۡعَلۡ ذَ ٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرُونَ ﴿٩﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyow yaanay idin ka shuqlinin Xoolihiinnu iyo Caruurtiinnu xuska Eebe (daacaddiisa) Ciddii saas fashaana waa mid khasaartay

O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers

وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَیَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَاۤ أَخَّرۡتَنِیۤ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ قَرِیبࣲ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ ﴿١٠﴾

Bixiyana wax ka mid ah waxa Eebe idinku arsuqay geerida horteeda oo markaas uu yiraahdo (ruuxaan wax baxsan) Eebow maad muddo dhow dib ii dhigtid oon sadaqaysto kuwa suubanna aan ka mid noqdee

And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous

وَلَن یُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِذَا جَاۤءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١١﴾

Naf malageed galayna Eebe dib uma dhigo, Ilaahayna waa ogyahay waxaad Camal falaysaan

But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do
