Surah Al-Hashr سُورَةُ الحَشۡرِ

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ﴿١﴾

Waxaa Eebe nasaha (sharifa) waxa Cirka iyo Dhulka ku dhexnool, waana xoo badane Falsan

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

هُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ مِن دِیَـٰرِهِمۡ لِأَوَّلِ ٱلۡحَشۡرِۚ مَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن یَخۡرُجُوا۟ۖ وَظَنُّوۤا۟ أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمۡ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَمۡ یَحۡتَسِبُوا۟ۖ وَقَذَفَ فِی قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعۡبَۚ یُخۡرِبُونَ بُیُوتَهُم بِأَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَأَیۡدِی ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ فَٱعۡتَبِرُوا۟ یَـٰۤأُو۟لِی ٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرِ ﴿٢﴾

Eebe waa kan bixiyey kuwii gaaloobay ee ahlu Kitaabka ahaa «Yuhuud» Guryahoodii kulmintii hore, idinkoon u malaynin inay bixi iyana waxay u maleeyeen in Guryahoodu wax ka celin, markaasaa Eebe uga yimid meel ayan filayn, qalbigoodana wuxuu ku tuuray cabsi, guryahooda waxay ku kharribeen (ku halleeyeen) gacmahooda iyo gacmaha kuwa rumeeyey, ee dadka Caqliga leh ha waano qaato

It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision

وَلَوۡلَاۤ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡجَلَاۤءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ ﴿٣﴾

Haddaan Eebe xukumin inay baxaan waxaa lagu caddibi lahaa Adduunka, Aakhirana waxaa u sugnaaday cadaab naareed

And if not that Allah had decreed for them evacuation, He would have punished them in [this] world, and for them in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ شَاۤقُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۖ وَمَن یُشَاۤقِّ ٱللَّهَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ﴿٤﴾

Maxaa yeelay Ilaahay iyo Rasuulkiisa yey khilaafeen, ruuxii Eebe khilaafana Ciqaabtiisu waa darantahay

That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah - then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty

مَا قَطَعۡتُم مِّن لِّینَةٍ أَوۡ تَرَكۡتُمُوهَا قَاۤئِمَةً عَلَىٰۤ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِیُخۡزِیَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ﴿٥﴾

Wixii aad gooysaan oo geed ah (qq Cadawga) ama aad daysaan iyadoo ku taagan Salkeeda waa idinka Eebe iyo inuu dulleeyo Faasiqiinta

Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allah and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient

وَمَاۤ أَفَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنۡهُمۡ فَمَاۤ أَوۡجَفۡتُمۡ عَلَیۡهِ مِنۡ خَیۡلࣲ وَلَا رِكَابࣲ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُسَلِّطُ رُسُلَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ ﴿٦﴾

Wixii Xoola ah ee Ilaahay Nabiga uga soo celiyo Gaalada isagoon Fardo iyo awr lagu dagaallamin waxaa amarkiisa leh Nabiga Eebana Cidduu doono yuu ku diraa Rasuulkiisa, wax walbana Eebe waa karaa

And what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent

مَّاۤ أَفَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِی ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَـٰكِینِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِیلِ كَیۡ لَا یَكُونَ دُولَةَۢ بَیۡنَ ٱلۡأَغۡنِیَاۤءِ مِنكُمۡۚ وَمَاۤ ءَاتَىٰكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَىٰكُمۡ عَنۡهُ فَٱنتَهُوا۟ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ﴿٧﴾

Wixii Xoola aha ee Ilaahay ku soo celiyo ee uga yimaadda Degmooyinka Yuhuudda Rasuulkiisa; waxaa leh Ilaahay, Rasuulka, Qaraabada, Agoonta, Masaakiinta iyo Musaafiriinta «socdaalka» si ayan u noqon wax ku wareegaysta kuwa Hodanka ah dhexdooda wuxuu Rasuulku dadka siiyo ama faro waa inay qaataan, wuxuu ka reebana waa inay ka reebmaan, Eebana waa in laga dhawrsado, maxaa yeelay Ciqaabtiisu waa darantahay

And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty

لِلۡفُقَرَاۤءِ ٱلۡمُهَـٰجِرِینَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُخۡرِجُوا۟ مِن دِیَـٰرِهِمۡ وَأَمۡوَ ٰلِهِمۡ یَبۡتَغُونَ فَضۡلࣰا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَ ٰنࣰا وَیَنصُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۤۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ ﴿٨﴾

Waxaa Xoolahaas wax ku leh kuwa Saboolka ah ee ka soo hijrooday guryahoodii iyo Xoolahoodii dar Eebe iyo gargaarka Ilaahay iyo Rasuulkiisa, waana kuwa ku run sheegay iimaankooda

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful

وَٱلَّذِینَ تَبَوَّءُو ٱلدَّارَ وَٱلۡإِیمَـٰنَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ یُحِبُّونَ مَنۡ هَاجَرَ إِلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا یَجِدُونَ فِی صُدُورِهِمۡ حَاجَةࣰ مِّمَّاۤ أُوتُوا۟ وَیُؤۡثِرُونَ عَلَىٰۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَلَوۡ كَانَ بِهِمۡ خَصَاصَةࣱۚ وَمَن یُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴿٩﴾

Kuwii Madiino deganaa ee Xaqa rumeeyey waxay jecel yihiin dadka u soo hijroon (u soo qixi) wax necbaansho ahna Laabta uma geliyaan dadkaas waxay siin, waxayna Naftooda ka hormariyaan (ay uga doori) dadkaas inkastaba iyagu gaajo hahaysee, ruuxii laga dhawro bakhaylnimada Naftiisa waa mid Liibaanay

And [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful

وَٱلَّذِینَ جَاۤءُو مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ یَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَلِإِخۡوَ ٰنِنَا ٱلَّذِینَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلۡإِیمَـٰنِ وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ فِی قُلُوبِنَا غِلࣰّا لِّلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ رَبَّنَاۤ إِنَّكَ رَءُوفࣱ رَّحِیمٌ ﴿١٠﴾

Kuwa imaan Asxaabta Nabiga ka dib waxay Eebe weydiisan inuu u dambi dhaafo iyaga iyo Walaalahooda iimaanka uga hormaray uusan qalbigoodana xiqdi yeelin kuwa rumeeyey Eebena waa naxariis badane

And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful

۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ نَافَقُوا۟ یَقُولُونَ لِإِخۡوَ ٰنِهِمُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لَئِنۡ أُخۡرِجۡتُمۡ لَنَخۡرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمۡ وَلَا نُطِیعُ فِیكُمۡ أَحَدًا أَبَدࣰا وَإِن قُوتِلۡتُمۡ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ یَشۡهَدُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ ﴿١١﴾

Ma ogtahay in kuwii Munaafiqiinta ahaa ay ku dhihi kuwii gaaloobay ee Yuhuudda ahaa haddii laydin bixiyo waan idinla jiraynaa Cid aan idiin maqlaynana ma jiro waligeed, haddii laydinla dagaallamana waan idiin gargaaraynaa, Ilaahayna waa ogyahay inay Beenaalayaal yihiin

Have you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allah testifies that they are liars

لَئِنۡ أُخۡرِجُوا۟ لَا یَخۡرُجُونَ مَعَهُمۡ وَلَئِن قُوتِلُوا۟ لَا یَنصُرُونَهُمۡ وَلَئِن نَّصَرُوهُمۡ لَیُوَلُّنَّ ٱلۡأَدۡبَـٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا یُنصَرُونَ ﴿١٢﴾

Haddii la bixiyo Yuhuudda lama baxaayaan haddii lala dagaallamana uma gargaarayaan hadday isku dayaan inay u gargaaraanna way carari loomana gargaarayo

If they are expelled, they will not leave with them, and if they are fought, they will not aid them. And [even] if they should aid them, they will surely turn their backs; then [thereafter] they will not be aided

لَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ رَهۡبَةࣰ فِی صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا یَفۡقَهُونَ ﴿١٣﴾

Mu'miniinta yey uga cabsi badan yihiin Yuhuuddu Ilaahay, maxaa yeelay waa dad aan wax garad ahayn

You [believers] are more fearful within their breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who do not understand

لَا یُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمۡ جَمِیعًا إِلَّا فِی قُرࣰى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوۡ مِن وَرَاۤءِ جُدُرِۭۚ بَأۡسُهُم بَیۡنَهُمۡ شَدِیدࣱۚ تَحۡسَبُهُمۡ جَمِیعࣰا وَقُلُوبُهُمۡ شَتَّىٰۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا یَعۡقِلُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyeyna lama dagaallami karaan «dhufaysyo iyo Gidaaro dhexdood mooyee» dhibka dhexdooda ahna waa daranyahay quluubtooduna waa kala tagsan tahay, maxaa yeelay waa dad aan wax kasayn

They will not fight you all except within fortified cities or from behind walls. Their violence among themselves is severe. You think they are together, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason

كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ قَرِیبࣰاۖ ذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ ﴿١٥﴾

Waxay la mid yihiin gaaladii dhawaa ee ka horreeyey ee dhadhamiyey cidhibtii camalkooda, Cadaab daranna u sugnaaday

[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment

كَمَثَلِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ إِذۡ قَالَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ ٱكۡفُرۡ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّنكَ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ﴿١٦﴾

Waxay la midyihiin Shaydaan waa ka dadka gaalow ku dhaha, markay gaaloobaanna ku yidhaah bari baan kaa ahay (waxba isuguma keen jiraan) oo sheega inuu Ilaahay ka yaabi

[The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds

فَكَانَ عَـٰقِبَتَهُمَاۤ أَنَّهُمَا فِی ٱلنَّارِ خَـٰلِدَیۡنِ فِیهَاۚ وَذَ ٰلِكَ جَزَ ٰۤؤُا۟ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ﴿١٧﴾

Markaasay Labadooduba Cidhibtoodu noqon naar ay ku waaraan, daalimiintana saasaa lagu abaal mariyaa

So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلۡتَنظُرۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ لِغَدࣲۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyey waa inay Eebe ka dhawrsadaan, Nafwalbana waa inay eegtaa waxay u hormarsatay barri (qiyaamaha) Eebena ha laga yaabo illeen wax walba waa ogyahaye

O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِینَ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyey waa inayan noqon sidii kuwii Eebe hilmaamay, isna markaas uu hilmaansiiyey naftooda waana kuwo faasiqiin ah (xaqa ka leexday)

And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient

لَا یَسۡتَوِیۤ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۚ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ هُمُ ٱلۡفَاۤئِزُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Ma eka Ahlu naarka iyo Ahlu Jannaha, Ahlu Jannuhu waa kuwa liibaanay

Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise - they are the attainers [of success]

لَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلࣲ لَّرَأَیۡتَهُۥ خَـٰشِعࣰا مُّتَصَدِّعࣰا مِّنۡ خَشۡیَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَـٰلُ نَضۡرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

Haddii quraankan Eebe Buur ku dejiyo (kula hadlo) waxaad arki lahayd Buurtii oo khushuucsan oo dillaaci cabsi Eebe darteed, saasaa Eebe mataallo ugu sheega dadka inay fikiraan darteed

If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ﴿٢٢﴾

Eebe mooyee Ilaah kale ma jiro, waxa maqan iyo waxa joogaba waa ogyahay, waana kan naxariis guud iyo mid gaaraba naxariista

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَیۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

Ilaahay isaga mooyee Eebe kale ma jiro, waa Xaakim Daahir ah, nabadgeliye, rumeeye, wax walbana ilaaliye xoog iyo wenaan isagaa leh, waana ka nasahanyahay waxay Cibaadada la wadaajinayaan

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقُ ٱلۡبَارِئُ ٱلۡمُصَوِّرُۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَاۤءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ یُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ﴿٢٤﴾

Eebe waa kan wax abuura ee ahaysiiya sawirana, Magacyo fiicanna wuu leeyahay waxaana Eebe u tasbiixsada (weyneeya) waxa Cirka iyo dhulka ku sugan, waana adkaade falame

He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise
