Surah Al-Mujaadila سُورَةُ المُجَادلَةِ

۞ قَدۡ سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ قَوۡلَ ٱلَّتِی تُجَـٰدِلُكَ فِی زَوۡجِهَا وَتَشۡتَكِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ یَسۡمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَاۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِیعُۢ بَصِیرٌ ﴿١﴾

Eebe wuxuu maqlay Haweenaydii hadalkeeda Nabiga kula doodaysay xaalkii ninkeeda, oo Eebe u sheeganaysay «dhibaatadeeda», Eebana wuu maqlayey doodooda, maxaayeelay Ilaahay waa ka wax walba maqle arka

Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O Muhammad], concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah. And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing

ٱلَّذِینَ یُظَـٰهِرُونَ مِنكُم مِّن نِّسَاۤئِهِم مَّا هُنَّ أُمَّهَـٰتِهِمۡۖ إِنۡ أُمَّهَـٰتُهُمۡ إِلَّا ٱلَّـٰۤءِی وَلَدۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَیَقُولُونَ مُنكَرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَزُورࣰاۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورࣱ ﴿٢﴾

Kuwa haweenkooda kala mid dhiga hooyadood oo kale haweenkoodu ma aha hooyadood, hooyo waa midda wax dhashay, kuwaasina waxay ku hadlayaan hadal xun iyo been Ilaahayna hadal xun iyo been Ilaahayna waa Saamax badane Dhaafid badane

Those who pronounce thihar among you [to separate] from their wives - they are not [consequently] their mothers. Their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they are saying an objectionable statement and a falsehood. But indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving

وَٱلَّذِینَ یُظَـٰهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَاۤئِهِمۡ ثُمَّ یَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا۟ فَتَحۡرِیرُ رَقَبَةࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن یَتَمَاۤسَّاۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣱ ﴿٣﴾

Kuwa haweenkooda kala mid dhigi hooyadood haddana ku noqon «haweenkii» waxaa ku waajib ah qoor xoraynteed intayan istaaban, Arrintaasi waa waano, Ilaahayna waxa dadku camal fali waa ogyahay

And those who pronounce thihar from their wives and then [wish to] go back on what they said - then [there must be] the freeing of a slave before they touch one another. That is what you are admonished thereby; and Allah is Acquainted with what you do

فَمَن لَّمۡ یَجِدۡ فَصِیَامُ شَهۡرَیۡنِ مُتَتَابِعَیۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یَتَمَاۤسَّاۖ فَمَن لَّمۡ یَسۡتَطِعۡ فَإِطۡعَامُ سِتِّینَ مِسۡكِینࣰاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ لِتُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ وَتِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَلِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمٌ ﴿٤﴾

Ruuxaan helin qoor uu xoreeyo wuxuu soomi Laba Bilood oo israacsan intayan istaaban, ciddiise aan karin soonka wuxuu quudin Lixdan miskiin, arrintu waa saas si aad Eebe u rumeysaan iyo Rasuulkiisa, taasina waa xuduuddii Ilaahay Gaalase waxaa u sugnaaday Cadaab kulul

And he who does not find [a slave] - then a fast for two months consecutively before they touch one another; and he who is unable - then the feeding of sixty poor persons. That is for you to believe [completely] in Allah and His Messenger; and those are the limits [set by] Allah. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُحَاۤدُّونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ كُبِتُوا۟ كَمَا كُبِتَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ وَقَدۡ أَنزَلۡنَاۤ ءَایَـٰتِۭ بَیِّنَـٰتࣲۚ وَلِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِینࣱ ﴿٥﴾

Kuwa Eebe iyo Rasuulkiisa hilaafaya waxay mudan yihiin halaag sidii loo halaagay kuwii ka horreeyey, Eebana wuxuu soo dajiyey Aayado cad cad Gaalana waxaa u sugnaaday cadaab wax ihaaneeya

Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger are abased as those before them were abased. And We have certainly sent down verses of clear evidence. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment

یَوۡمَ یَبۡعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ جَمِیعࣰا فَیُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوۤا۟ۚ أَحۡصَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ وَنَسُوهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ شَهِیدٌ ﴿٦﴾

Maalinbuuna ihaanayn Ilaahay uu soo bixin dhammaantood, ugana warrami waxay camal faleen, Eebana waa koobay iyana waa hilmaameen Ilaahayna wax kasta wuu daalacan (arkaa)

On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all and inform them of what they did. Allah had enumerated it, while they forgot it; and Allah is, over all things, Witness

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ مَا یَكُونُ مِن نَّجۡوَىٰ ثَلَـٰثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمۡ وَلَا خَمۡسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمۡ وَلَاۤ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ذَ ٰلِكَ وَلَاۤ أَكۡثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمۡ أَیۡنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ۖ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمٌ ﴿٧﴾

Ma ogtahay in Ilaahay ogyahay Cirka iyo Dhulka waxa ku jira, Seddexdii faqiba Ilaahay baa afreeya, Shantana Ilaahay baa Lixeeya; waxa ka yar iyo waxa ka badanba Ilaaahaybaa la jooga meeshay ahaadaanba, wuxuuna uga qarrami waxay camal faleen Maalinta Qiyaamo Ilaahayna wax walba waa ogyahay

Have you not considered that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth? There is in no private conversation three but that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five but that He is the sixth of them - and no less than that and no more except that He is with them [in knowledge] wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ ثُمَّ یَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنۡهُ وَیَتَنَـٰجَوۡنَ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَ ٰنِ وَمَعۡصِیَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِۖ وَإِذَا جَاۤءُوكَ حَیَّوۡكَ بِمَا لَمۡ یُحَیِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّهُ وَیَقُولُونَ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَوۡلَا یُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُۚ حَسۡبُهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ یَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ﴿٨﴾

Miyaadan ogayn kuwa laga reebay faqa xun oo haddana ku noqon waxa laga reebay, kuna faqi dambi iyo cadawnimo iyo caasinnimada Rasuulka, markay Nabiga u yimaadaanna ku salaamaya waxaan Eebe ku salaamin oo hoos u dhihi maa Eebe nagu cadaabo waxaan ku hadlayno waxaa ku filan Jahaannamo oo ay galayaan waana Guri xun

Have you not considered those who were forbidden from private conversation, then they return to that which they were forbidden and converse among themselves about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that [word] by which Allah does not greet you and say among themselves, "Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?" Sufficient for them is Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the destination

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِذَا تَنَـٰجَیۡتُمۡ فَلَا تَتَنَـٰجَوۡا۟ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَ ٰنِ وَمَعۡصِیَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَتَنَـٰجَوۡا۟ بِٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِیۤ إِلَیۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ ﴿٩﴾

Kuwa rumeeyayow markaad faqaysaan ha ku faqina dambi, colnimo iyo caasinnimada Rasuulka ee ku faqa wanaag dhawrsani, Eebana ka yaaba isagaa la isu soo kulmine

O you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger but converse about righteousness and piety. And fear Allah, to whom you will be gathered

إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ مِنَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ لِیَحۡزُنَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَیۡسَ بِضَاۤرِّهِمۡ شَیۡءًا إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

Faqa xun Shaydaan buu kayimaaddaa suu u walbahaar geliyo kuwa xaqa rumeeyay, waxbase kama dhibo idan Ilaahay Mooyee, Ilaahay uun ha tala saarteen kuwa xaqa rumeeyey

Private conversation is only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed, but he will not harm them at all except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِذَا قِیلَ لَكُمۡ تَفَسَّحُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡمَجَـٰلِسِ فَٱفۡسَحُوا۟ یَفۡسَحِ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَإِذَا قِیلَ ٱنشُزُوا۟ فَٱنشُزُوا۟ یَرۡفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ دَرَجَـٰتࣲۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣱ ﴿١١﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyayow haddii la idin dhaho isu waasiciya fadhiga; isuwaasiciya Ilaahay wanaagga ha idiin waasiciyee, marka la idin yiraahdo Jihaadka iyo Khayrka u degdegana; u degdega Ilaahay wuu koryeelayaa kuwa xaqa rumeeya kuwa cilmiga lehna daragooyin yuu koryeelayaa Eebana waxa la camal fali waa ogyahay

O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِذَا نَـٰجَیۡتُمُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُوا۟ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡ نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ صَدَقَةࣰۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ خَیۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡ وَأَطۡهَرُۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ تَجِدُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمٌ ﴿١٢﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyayow markaad Nabiga qaabilaysaan hormariya Sadaqo, saasaa idiin khayr badan idiina nadiifsan, haddaydaan helaynin Eebe waa dambi dhaaf badane Naxariis badane

O you who have believed, when you [wish to] privately consult the Messenger, present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

ءَأَشۡفَقۡتُمۡ أَن تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡ نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ صَدَقَـٰتࣲۚ فَإِذۡ لَمۡ تَفۡعَلُوا۟ وَتَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِیعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٣﴾

Ma waxaad ka cabsateen inaad hormarsataan Sadaqooyin markaad Nabiga la kulmaysaan; haddaydaan saas falin Eebe waa idin ka toobada aqbalaye ee Salaadda ooga Sakadana bixiya Ilaahaay iyo Rasuulkiisana adeeca, Eebana waa ogyahay waxaad camal falaysaan

Have you feared to present before your consultation charities? Then when you do not and Allah has forgiven you, then [at least] establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do

۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ تَوَلَّوۡا۟ قَوۡمًا غَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِم مَّا هُم مِّنكُمۡ وَلَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَیَحۡلِفُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَذِبِ وَهُمۡ یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

Ma ogtahay kuwii ka sokeeye dhigtay kuwa Eebe u cadhooday kuwaasi idin ka mid ma aha iyagana ka mid ma aha (waa munaafiqiinta) waxayna ku dhaaran been iyagoo og

Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying]

أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣰا شَدِیدًاۖ إِنَّهُمۡ سَاۤءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

Eebe wuxuu u darbay kuwaas cadaab daran maxaa yeelay wax xun bay falayeen

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing

ٱتَّخَذُوۤا۟ أَیۡمَـٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةࣰ فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِینࣱ ﴿١٦﴾

Dhaartoodii bay gaashaan ka dhigteen dadkana xaqiibay ka leexiyeen waxayna mudan yihiin cadaab wax ihaaneeya

They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment

لَّن تُغۡنِیَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَ ٰلُهُمۡ وَلَاۤ أَوۡلَـٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَیۡءًاۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِیهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

Xoolahooda iyo Caruurtoodu wax ugama taraan Eebe xaggiisa, waana kuwa ehelu Naar ah wayna ku waari

Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally

یَوۡمَ یَبۡعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ جَمِیعࣰا فَیَحۡلِفُونَ لَهُۥ كَمَا یَحۡلِفُونَ لَكُمۡ وَیَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ عَلَىٰ شَیۡءٍۚ أَلَاۤ إِنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Maalinta Eebe soo bixiyo dhamaantood way u dhaaran Eebe siday idinka idiinku dhaartaan iyagoo u malayn inay wax (xuja ah) haystaan waase kuwo beenaalayaal ah

On the Day Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars

ٱسۡتَحۡوَذَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ ذِكۡرَ ٱللَّهِۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ حِزۡبُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۚ أَلَاۤ إِنَّ حِزۡبَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ هُمُ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

Waxaa ka qaalib noqday Shaydaan oo hilaamsiiyey xusidda Eebe, kuwaasi waa Xisbiga shaydaanka, Xisbiga shaydaankuna waa kuwa khasaaray

Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan - they will be the losers

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُحَاۤدُّونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۤ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ فِی ٱلۡأَذَلِّینَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Kuwa Ilaahay iyo Rasuulkiisa khilaafaya waxay ka mid noqon kuwa dullooba

Indeed, the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger - those will be among the most humbled

كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَغۡلِبَنَّ أَنَا۠ وَرُسُلِیۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِیٌّ عَزِیزࣱ ﴿٢١﴾

Eebe wuxuu xugmiyey inuu adkaado isaga iyo Rasuulkiisa, maxaa yeelay waa xoog badane adkaade ah

Allah has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might

لَّا تَجِدُ قَوۡمࣰا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡءَاخِرِ یُوَاۤدُّونَ مَنۡ حَاۤدَّ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَوۡ كَانُوۤا۟ ءَابَاۤءَهُمۡ أَوۡ أَبۡنَاۤءَهُمۡ أَوۡ إِخۡوَ ٰنَهُمۡ أَوۡ عَشِیرَتَهُمۡۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ كَتَبَ فِی قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡإِیمَـٰنَ وَأَیَّدَهُم بِرُوحࣲ مِّنۡهُۖ وَیُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۚ رَضِیَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنۡهُۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ حِزۡبُ ٱللَّهِۚ أَلَاۤ إِنَّ حِزۡبَ ٱللَّهِ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Ma helaysid dad Ilaahay rumeeyey iyo Maalintii dambeeysay oo haddana jecel ruux Ilaahay iyo Rasuulkiisa khilaafaya haba ahaadeen Aabayowgood, Caruurtooda, Walaahood ama Qaraabadooda, kuwaas (aan jeelaanin) waa kuwo qalbigooda iimaanka lagu dhigay Eebena ku xoojiyey gargaarkiisa, wuxuuna gelin Jannooyin Wabiyaal dhex socdaan ay kuna waari, kuwaas Ilaahay baa ka raalli noqday iyana way ka raallii noqdeen waana Xisbiga Ilaahay; Xisbiga Ilaahayna waa kuwa Liibaanay

You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful
