Surah As-Sajda سُورَةُ السَّجۡدَةِ

الۤمۤ ﴿١﴾

waxay ku tusin mugjisada Quraanka

Alif, Lam, Meem

تَنزِیلُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ﴿٢﴾

soo dajinta Quraanka shaki kuma jiro, wuxuuna ka soodagay Eebaha Calaamka xaggiisa

[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds

أَمۡ یَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمࣰا مَّاۤ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِیرࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَهۡتَدُونَ ﴿٣﴾

mise waxay dhihi waxaa been abuurtay (Nabiga) saas ma aha ee waa xaq Quraanku Eebahaa xaggiisa ka yimid si aad ugu digtid qoom uusan u imaanin dige kaa horeeya, si ay u hanuunaan

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muhammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامࣲ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِیࣲّ وَلَا شَفِیعٍۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Eebe waa ka ku abuuray Samooyinka, iyo Dhulka iyo waxa u dhaxeeya Lix maalmood dhexdeed, markaasna ku istawooday Carshiga «si u cunanta» idiinmana sugnaanin Eebe ka sokow wali (gargaare) iyo shafecee midna, ee miyeydaan wax xusuusanayn

It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded

یُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ یَعۡرُجُ إِلَیۡهِ فِی یَوۡمࣲ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥۤ أَلۡفَ سَنَةࣲ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ﴿٥﴾

amarka Eebaa ka maamula Samada xagga Dhulka markaasaa amarkaasi xagga Eebe u koraa Maalin qadarkeedu yahay Kun sano oo waxaad tirinaysaana

He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count

ذَ ٰلِكَ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ﴿٦﴾

kaasina waa Eebaha og wax maqan iyo waxa joogaba, ee adkaada ee Naxariista

That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

ٱلَّذِیۤ أَحۡسَنَ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلۡقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنِ مِن طِینࣲ ﴿٧﴾

Eebaa wanaajiyey abuuridda wax kasta, wuxuuna ka billaabay abuuridda Dadka Dhoobo, (Nabigii Aadam ahaa)

Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay

ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسۡلَهُۥ مِن سُلَـٰلَةࣲ مِّن مَّاۤءࣲ مَّهِینࣲ ﴿٨﴾

markaas kayeelay faraciisii mid ka soo taxma Biyo taharyar

Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained

ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِیهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡءِدَةَۚ قَلِیلࣰا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ ﴿٩﴾

markaas ekeeyey oo ruuxdiisa ku afuufay idiinna yeelay maqal, Aragyaal iyo quluuba, waxyar baadse Eebe ku mahdisaan

Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful

وَقَالُوۤا۟ أَءِذَا ضَلَلۡنَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِی خَلۡقࣲ جَدِیدِۭۚ بَلۡ هُم بِلِقَاۤءِ رَبِّهِمۡ كَـٰفِرُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

waxay dhaheen Gaaladii ma markaan ku dhexluno dhulka (geeriyoonno) yaa abuurid cusub nala abuuri, saas ma aha ee iyagu la kulanka Eebahood bay ka gaaloobeen

And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers

۞ قُلۡ یَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ ٱلَّذِی وُكِّلَ بِكُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُونَ ﴿١١﴾

waxaad dhahdaa waxaa idin oofsan (dili) Malaga mowdka laydiin wakiishay markaasaa xagga Eebihiin laydiin celin

Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰۤ إِذِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ نَاكِسُوا۟ رُءُوسِهِمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ رَبَّنَاۤ أَبۡصَرۡنَا وَسَمِعۡنَا فَٱرۡجِعۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَـٰلِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ ﴿١٢﴾

haddaad arki lahayd marka dambiilayaashu madaxa hoos u dhigi (qiyaamada) Eebahood agtiisa (iyagoo dhihi) Eebahanow waan aragnay waana maqalay ee naceli si aan camalfiican u fallo waan yaqiininaye (waxaad arki lahayd wax yaableh)

If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain

وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَءَاتَیۡنَا كُلَّ نَفۡسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَـٰكِنۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنِّی لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِینَ ﴿١٣﴾

haddaan doono waxaan siin lahayn (ku toosin lahayn) Nafkasta hanuunkeeda hase yeeshee waxaa hormaray Hadalkaygii in laga buuxin Jahannamo Jinno iyo Insi dhammaan

And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together

فَذُوقُوا۟ بِمَا نَسِیتُمۡ لِقَاۤءَ یَوۡمِكُمۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِنَّا نَسِینَـٰكُمۡۖ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

ee dhadhamiya halmaanshihiinii la kulanka Maalintiinnan (qiyame) annaguna waan idinka tagaynaa (maanta) ee dhadhamiya cadaabka waaridda camalkiinii dartiis

So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do

إِنَّمَا یُؤۡمِنُ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِینَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهَا خَ̅رُّ̅و̅ا۟̅ ̅سُ̅جَّ̅دࣰ̅ا̅ وَسَبَّحُوا۟ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ۩ ﴿١٥﴾

waxaa uun rumayn aayaadkanaga kuwa marka lagu waaniyo aayadaha sujuud la dhaca kuna tasbiixsada mahadda Eebahood iyagoon is kibrinayn (isla waynayn)

Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant

تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمَضَاجِعِ یَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُمۡ خَوۡفࣰا وَطَمَعࣰا وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ یُنفِقُونَ ﴿١٦﴾

waxayna ka dheeraataa dhinacyadoodu jiifka iyagoo baryi Eebahood cabsi iyo rajaynba waxaan ku arzuqnayna wax ka bixiya

They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend

فَلَا تَعۡلَمُ نَفۡسࣱ مَّاۤ أُخۡفِیَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعۡیُنࣲ جَزَاۤءَۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

ma oga Nafu waxa loo qariyay kuwaas oo Indho ku qaboowsadaan abaal marin waxay camalfalayeen dartiis

And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do

أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤۡمِنࣰا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقࣰاۚ لَّا یَسۡتَوُۥنَ ﴿١٨﴾

ruux Mu'min ah mala midbaa mid faasiq ah, ma eka

Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal

أَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ نُزُلَۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

kuwa rumeeyay (xaqa) oo camal fiican falay waxay mudan Jannooyinka Ma'wa martiqaad waxay xamal falayeen dartiis

As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ فَسَقُوا۟ فَمَأۡوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُۖ كُلَّمَاۤ أَرَادُوۤا۟ أَن یَخۡرُجُوا۟ مِنۡهَاۤ أُعِیدُوا۟ فِیهَا وَقِیلَ لَهُمۡ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِی كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

kuwase faasiqoobay waxay ku hoyan Naar, markay doonaan inay ka baxaanna waa lagu celin dhexdeeda waxaana lagu dhihi dhadhamiya Cadaabka Naartii aad beenin jirteen

But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny

وَلَنُذِیقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَدۡنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَرۡجِعُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

waxaana dhadhansiinaynaa cadaab hoose cadaab wayn kasokow inay noqdaan darteed

And we will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will repent

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ثُمَّ أَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهَاۤۚ إِنَّا مِنَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ مُنتَقِمُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

yaa ka dulmi badan ruux lagu waaniyay aayaadka Eebihiis oo ka jeedsaday xaggeeda, anaguna dambiilayaasha waan ka aarsanaynaa

And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِی مِرۡیَةࣲ مِّن لِّقَاۤئِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ هُدࣰى لِّبَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ ﴿٢٣﴾

dhab ahaanbaan u siinay Nabi Muuse Kitaabkii (Tawreed) ee hashakiyin lakulankiisa waxaana ka yeelay Kitaabkaas hanuunka Banii Israa'iil

And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel

وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ أَئِمَّةࣰ یَهۡدُونَ بِأَمۡرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا۟ۖ وَكَانُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا یُوقِنُونَ ﴿٢٤﴾

waxaana ka yeelay qaarka mid ah imaamyo ku hanuuniya amarkanaga markay samreen, waxayna ahaayeen kuwa aayaadkanaga yaqiiniya

And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ یَفۡصِلُ بَیۡنَهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ فِیمَا كَانُوا۟ فِیهِ یَخۡتَلِفُونَ ﴿٢٥﴾

Eebahaabaana kala bixin dhexdooda Maalinta Qiyaame waxay ahaayeen kuwo isku diidan

Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ

أَوَ لَمۡ یَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ یَمۡشُونَ فِی مَسَـٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتٍۚ أَفَلَا یَسۡمَعُونَ ﴿٢٦﴾

myayna ku hanuunin kuwaasi intaan halaagnay hortood oo quruun ah oy socon guryahoodii, taasina waxaa ku sugan calaamado ee miyayna wax maqlaynin

Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear

أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلۡمَاۤءَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡجُرُزِ فَنُخۡرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرۡعࣰا تَأۡكُلُ مِنۡهُ أَنۡعَـٰمُهُمۡ وَأَنفُسُهُمۡۚ أَفَلَا یُبۡصِرُونَ ﴿٢٧﴾

miyeyna arkeyn inaan u soo kaxayno Biyaha Dhul abaar ah oon markaas ku soobixino Beero ay wax ka cunaan Xoolahooda iyo Naftooduba miyeyna wax arkaynin

Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see

وَیَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡفَتۡحُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ ﴿٢٨﴾

waxay dhihi waa goorma kala xukunku haddaad run sheegaysaan

And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful

قُلۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَتۡحِ لَا یَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِیمَـٰنُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یُنظَرُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾

waxaad dhahdaa maalinta kala xukunka Gaalada ma anfaco Iimaankoodu lamaga sugo

Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved

فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱنتَظِرۡ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ ﴿٣٠﴾

Ee isaga jeedso oo sug iyana ha sugeene

So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting
