Surah Ar-Room سُورَةُ الرُّومِ

۞ الۤمۤ ﴿١﴾

waxay ku tusin mucjisada Quraanka (sidii soo hormartay)

Alif, Lam, Meem

غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ ﴿٢﴾

waxaa lagaga adkaaday Ruum

The Byzantines have been defeated

فِیۤ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُونَ ﴿٣﴾

Dhulkii dhawaa, intii laga adkaaday ka dibna way adkaan

In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome

فِی بِضۡعِ سِنِینَۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ وَیَوۡمَئِذࣲ یَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿٤﴾

dhawr sano dhexdeed, amarkana Eebaa iska leh horey iyo diba, Maalintaasayna ku farxi Mu'miniintu

Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice

بِنَصۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ یَنصُرُ مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ﴿٥﴾

Gargaarka Eebe, wuxuuna u gargaari cidduu doono, waana adkaade naxariista ah

In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِۖ لَا یُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٦﴾

waa yabooha Eebe, mana baajiyo Eebe yaboohiisa, laakin Dadka badankiisu ma oga

[It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know

یَعۡلَمُونَ ظَـٰهِرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ هُمۡ غَـٰفِلُونَ ﴿٧﴾

waxay yaqaanaan Dadku muuqaalka nolosha addunyo Aakhirose way halmaansanyihiin (ka jaahil yihiin)

They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware

أَوَ لَمۡ یَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَاۤ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِیرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَاۤئِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَكَـٰفِرُونَ ﴿٨﴾

miyeyna ka fikirin naftooda Inuusan Eebe Samaawaadka iyo Dhulka iyo waxa u dhaxeeya u abuurin waxaan xaq iyo muddo magacaaban ahayn, wax badan oo dadka ka mid ahna waxay ka Gaaloobi la kulanka Eebahood

Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers

أَوَ لَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوۤا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰ وَأَثَارُوا۟ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوهَاۤ أَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِیَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ یَظۡلِمُونَ ﴿٩﴾

meyeyna ku soconin Dhulka oy eegan siday ahaatay cidhibtii kuwii ka horreeyey (Gaaladii Makaad) waxay ahaayeen kuwo ka daran iyaga kana xoog badan, Dhulkana waybeerteen wayna Dhiseen Dhulka intay dhiseen wax ka badan. waxayna ula timid Rasuulladoodii Xujooyin, Eebana ma aha mid wax dulmiya, laakiin iyagaa naftooda dulmiyey

Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَسَـٰۤءُوا۟ ٱلسُّوۤأَىٰۤ أَن كَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ بِهَا یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

markaasay noqotay cidhibtii kuwii xumaanta falay, xumaan iyo (Jahannamo) beenintay aayadaha Eebe beeniyeen darteed, waxayna ahaayeen kuwo aayadaha ku jees jeesa

Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them

ٱللَّهُ یَبۡدَؤُا۟ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَیۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ ﴿١١﴾

Eebaa billaahay (Abuurka) Khalqiga isagaana soo celin, xaggiisaana laydiin celin

Allah begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned

وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یُبۡلِسُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ﴿١٢﴾

Maalintay kici Saacaddu (Qiyaamadu) way aamusi dambiilayaashu (ooy quusan)

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair

وَلَمۡ یَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَاۤئِهِمۡ شُفَعَـٰۤؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَاۤئِهِمۡ كَـٰفِرِینَ ﴿١٣﴾

ugumana sugnaanin kuway Eebe lawadajiyeen (Cibaadada) Shafeeco waxayna noqon kuwo diida Shurakadoodii

And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners

وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یَوۡمَئِذࣲ یَتَفَرَّقُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

Maalintay kici Saacadu waa maalin ay kala tagi Dadku

And the Day the Hour appears - that Day they will become separated

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَهُمۡ فِی رَوۡضَةࣲ یُحۡبَرُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

kuwa rumeeyey (xaqa) oo camalfiicanfalay Beer Janno yaa lagu faraxgaliyaa

And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا وَلِقَاۤئِ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ فِی ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ ﴿١٦﴾

kuwa Gaaloobayse oo beeniyey aayaadkanaga iyo lakulanka aakhiro kuwaas waxaa lagu kulmin Cadaabka

But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain]

فَسُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِینَ تُمۡسُونَ وَحِینَ تُصۡبِحُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

Eebaa nasahan (Ceeb ka fog) markaad galabaysanaysaan iyo markaad waabariisanaysaan

So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning

وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَعَشِیࣰّا وَحِینَ تُظۡهِرُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

mahadna isagaa ku leh Samooyinka iyo Dhulka dhexdooda iyo Habeenkii iyo Duhurkiiba

And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon

یُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَیَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَیِّتِ وَیُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَیِّتَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَیِّ وَیُحۡیِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

kana soobixiya wax nool wax dhintay wax dhintayna wax nool, nooleeyana Dhulka intuu dhintay ka dhib, saasaana laydiin soo bixin

He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَنۡ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ إِذَاۤ أَنتُم بَشَرࣱ تَنتَشِرُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

waxaana ka mid ah Calaamooyinkiisa inuu idinka abuuray Carro markaasaad noqoteen Dad dhaqdhaqaaqi (Faafi)

And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth]

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَ ٰجࣰا لِّتَسۡكُنُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَیۡنَكُم مَّوَدَّةࣰ وَرَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

waxaa ka mid ah Calaamooyinkiisa inuu idiinka abuuray naftiina Haween si aad isugu xasishaan, yeelayna dhexdiina isjacayl iyo naxariis, taasina waxaa ugu sugan Calaamad qoomkii fikiri

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَـٰفُ أَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَأَلۡوَ ٰنِكُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّلۡعَـٰلِمِینَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Waxaa ka mid ah Aayaadka ku tusin (Qudrada) Eebe samooyinka uu abuuray iyo Dhulka iyo kala duwanaanta Afkiina (Luuqada) iyo midabkiinaba, taasina calaamad yaa ugu sugan kuwa Cilmiga leh

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبۡتِغَاۤؤُكُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَسۡمَعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

waxaa ka mid ah Aayadka tusin (Qudrada) Eebe Hurdadiina Habeenkii iyo Maalintii iyo doonidiina Fadliga Eebe, taasna calaamad yaa ugu sugan kuwa wax maqli

And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ یُرِیكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفࣰا وَطَمَعࣰا وَیُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَیُحۡیِۦ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ ﴿٢٤﴾

waxaa ka mid ah Aayaadka ku tusin (qudra) Eebe Hillaaca uu idin tusiyo, Cabsi iyo Doonid darteed, iyo Samada uu idiinka soo dajiyo Biyo, kuna nooleeyo Dhulka intuu dhintay ka dib, taasina Calaamado yaa ugu sugan kuwa wax kasi

And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَن تَقُومَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ دَعۡوَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِذَاۤ أَنتُمۡ تَخۡرُجُونَ ﴿٢٥﴾

waxaa ka mid ah Aayaadka ku tusin (qudrada) Eebe inay Samada iyo Dhulku ku taaganyihiin amarka Eebe, markuu Dhulka idiinka yeedhana (soobixinta) aad durba soo baxdaan

And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth

وَلَهُۥ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ كُلࣱّ لَّهُۥ قَـٰنِتُونَ ﴿٢٦﴾

Eebaa iska leh waxa Samooyinka iyo Dhulkaba ku sugan, isagayna u khushuucaan (u hogaansamaan)

And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی یَبۡدَؤُا۟ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهۡوَنُ عَلَیۡهِۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ﴿٢٧﴾

Eebe waa kan billaabay abuurka Khalqiga, hadana soo celin wayna u fududahay arrintaasu, Eebaana sifo sare ku muta Samooyinka iyo Dhulka, waana adkaade falsan

And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلࣰا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَاۤءَ فِی مَا رَزَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ فَأَنتُمۡ فِیهِ سَوَاۤءࣱ تَخَافُونَهُمۡ كَخِیفَتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡءَایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ ﴿٢٨﴾

Eebe wuxuu idiin yeeley tusaale naftiina ah, waxaad hanataan miyey idinlawadaagaan wax laydinku arzuqay, ood si isku mid ah u maamulaysaan, ugana cabsanaysaan sidaad isaga cabsataan, saasuuna u caddayn aayaadka ciddii wax kasi

He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason

بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوۤا۟ أَهۡوَاۤءَهُم بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲۖ فَمَن یَهۡدِی مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِینَ ﴿٢٩﴾

haseyeeshee waxay raaceen kuwii dulmilowga ahaa Hawadooda iyagoon wax ogayn, yaa hanuunin kara ruux Eebe dhumid u qadaray, wax u gargaarana lahayn

But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّینِ حَنِیفࣰاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِی فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَیۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِیلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلدِّینُ ٱلۡقَیِّمُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٣٠﴾

ee Wajigaaga u jeedi Diinta adoo toosan (Diintu) waa abuuridda Eebe ee Dadka uu ku abuuray, wax badali kara abuurka Eebana ma jiro, saasina waa Diinta toosan laakiin dadka babidiis ma oga

So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know

۞ مُنِیبِینَ إِلَیۡهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ ﴿٣١﴾

idinkoo Eebe u noqon, kana yaaba, Salaadana ooga, Galadana ha ka mid noqonina

[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with Allah

مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِینَهُمۡ وَكَانُوا۟ شِیَعࣰاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَیۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ ﴿٣٢﴾

ee Diintooda ku kala tagay noqdayna kooxo, Xisbi walba uu ku farxi waxa agtiisa ah

[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has

وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرࣱّ دَعَوۡا۟ رَبَّهُم مُّنِیبِینَ إِلَیۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَاۤ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنۡهُ رَحۡمَةً إِذَا فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ یُشۡرِكُونَ ﴿٣٣﴾

hadduu Dadka taabto dhib waxay baryaan Eebahood iyagoo u noqon, markuuse dhadhansiiyo naxariis qayb iyaga ka mid ah waxay wax lawadaaijyaan Eebahood

And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord

لِیَكۡفُرُوا۟ بِمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٣٤﴾

si ay uga gaaloobaan waxaan siinney, iska raaxaysta, waadna ogaandoontaan Cidhibta raaxadaasi

So that they will deny what We have granted them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know

أَمۡ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا فَهُوَ یَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یُشۡرِكُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

mise waxaan ku soo dejiney xujo, oo ku hadli waxay Eebe la wadaajin

Or have We sent down to them an authority, and it speaks of what they were associating with Him

وَإِذَاۤ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةࣰ فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَیِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ یَقۡنَطُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

haddaan dhadhansiino dadka naxariis way ku farxi «kibraan» hadduu dhibku dhacana waxay hor marsadeen darteed way quustaan

And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair

أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿٣٧﴾

miyeyna arkayn in Eebe u waasiciyo rizqiga cidduudoono, kuna cidhiidhyo (Cidduu doono) arrintaasna Calaamooyinbaa ugu sugan kuwa rumeyn (Xaqa)

Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe

فَءَاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِینَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِیلِۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ یُرِیدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴿٣٨﴾

ee Qaraabada sii xaqeeda iyo Miskiinka iyo Musaafurka, saasaa u khayroon kuwa dooni Wajiga Eebe, (u dhawaanshahiisa) kuwaasina waa kuwa liibaanay

So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the countenance of Allah, and it is they who will be the successful

وَمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُم مِّن رِّبࣰا لِّیَرۡبُوَا۟ فِیۤ أَمۡوَ ٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا یَرۡبُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةࣲ تُرِیدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ ﴿٣٩﴾

waxaad bixisaan oo Ribo ah si aad uga badsataan xoolaha dadka ma badnaado Eebe agtiisa, wixiise aad bixisaan oo Zako (xalaal ah) idinkoo ku dooni Wajiga Eebe kuwaas waa loo laablaabi

And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُمِیتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُحۡیِیكُمۡۖ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَاۤئِكُم مَّن یَفۡعَلُ مِن ذَ ٰلِكُم مِّن شَیۡءࣲۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ ﴿٤٠﴾

Eebe waa kan idin abuuray Iladana idin arzaaqay hadana idin Dili, hadana idin soo noolayn, majiraa shurakadiina mid fali sidaas wax ka mid ah, Eebaa ka nasahana kana sareeya waxay la wadaajin

Allah is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him

ظَهَرَ ٱلۡفَسَادُ فِی ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَیۡدِی ٱلنَّاسِ لِیُذِیقَهُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِی عَمِلُوا۟ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَرۡجِعُونَ ﴿٤١﴾

xumaanbaa ka daahirtay Barri iyo Badba, waxay kasbatay Gaemo Dad dardiis, si Eebe u dhadhansiiyo waxay camalfaleen qaarkiis, inay noqdaan

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]

قُلۡ سِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّشۡرِكِینَ ﴿٤٢﴾

waxaad dhahdaa ku socda Dhulka fiiriyana siday noqotay cidhibtii kuwii hore, wuxuu ahaa badankoodu Mushrikiin

Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّینِ ٱلۡقَیِّمِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَ یَوۡمࣱ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ یَوۡمَئِذࣲ یَصَّدَّعُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

ee Wajigaaga Diinta toosani (Islaamka) u jeedi, maalin aan la eelin karin ka hor, Eebe xaggiisana ka iman, Maalintaas Dadku way kala tagi

So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided

مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَیۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمۡ یَمۡهَدُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾

ruuxii Gaalooba isagay (dhibi) Gaalimadiisu, ruuxii camal wanaagsan fala Naftiisa yuu u goglay

Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing

لِیَجۡزِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ ﴿٤٥﴾

si Eebe u abaalmariyo kuwa rumeeyey xaqa oo camal wanaagsan falay fadligiisa, Eebana ma jeela Gaalo

That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَن یُرۡسِلَ ٱلرِّیَاحَ مُبَشِّرَ ٰتࣲ وَلِیُذِیقَكُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجۡرِیَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ﴿٤٦﴾

Calaamaadka Eebe ku tusin waxaa ka mid ah inuu dabaylaha diro iyagoo ku bishaarayn (Roob) iyo in Eebe idin dhadhansiiyo naxariistiisa iyo in doontu ku socoto amarkiisa iyo inaad dalabtaan fadligiisa, markaas aad Eebe ku mahdisaan

And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَاۤءُوهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَجۡرَمُوا۟ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَیۡنَا نَصۡرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ﴿٤٧﴾

waxaan dhab ahaan ugu diray hortaa Rasuulo qoomkoodii, waxayna ulayimaadeen xujooyin waana ka aarsanay kuwii dambi Falay, waxaana korkanaga ah u gargaarka Mu'miniinta

And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی یُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّیَـٰحَ فَتُثِیرُ سَحَابࣰا فَیَبۡسُطُهُۥ فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ كَیۡفَ یَشَاۤءُ وَیَجۡعَلُهُۥ كِسَفࣰا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَـٰلِهِۦۖ فَإِذَاۤ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۤ إِذَا هُمۡ یَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾

Eebe waa kan diray Dabaylaha oo markaas kicisa Daruuro kuna fidiya Samada siduu doono kana yeela Goosimo aad aragtid Roobka oo ka soobixi dhexdeeda, markaasuu Eebe Roobka siiyaa Ciduu doono oo adoomadiisa ka mid ahna markaasay bishaaraystaan

It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice

وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یُنَزَّلَ عَلَیۡهِم مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمُبۡلِسِینَ ﴿٤٩﴾

waxayna ahaayeen soo dajinta Roobka ka hor kuwo Quusan

Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair

فَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰۤ ءَاثَـٰرِ رَحۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَیۡفَ یُحۡیِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰلِكَ لَمُحۡیِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ ﴿٥٠﴾

ee day naxariista Eebe raadkeeda sida Eebe, ugu nooleeyo dhulka intuu dhintay ka dib Eebaha wuxuu nooleeyaa wixii dhintay wax walbana waa arkaa

So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent

وَلَئِنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رِیحࣰا فَرَأَوۡهُ مُصۡفَرࣰّا لَّظَلُّوا۟ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ یَكۡفُرُونَ ﴿٥١﴾

haddaan ku diro Dabaylo (daran) Beertooda ay arkaan iyadoo doorsoon, waxay markaas ka dib noqdaan kuwo Gaalooba

But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers

فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَلَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَاۤءَ إِذَا وَلَّوۡا۟ مُدۡبِرِینَ ﴿٥٢﴾

adigu wax ma maqashiin kartid kuwo dhintay, Mid dhagala' oo jeedsadayna wax ma maqashiin kartid

So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating

وَمَاۤ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِ ٱلۡعُمۡیِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمۡۖ إِن تُسۡمِعُ إِلَّا مَن یُؤۡمِنُ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ ﴿٥٣﴾

ruux Indha la'na baadi kama hanuunin kartid, ma maqashiinkartid (xaqa) ruuxaan rumeynin Aayaadkanaga oo muslimiin ahayn

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allah]

۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعۡفࣲ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ضَعۡفࣲ قُوَّةࣰ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةࣲ ضَعۡفࣰا وَشَیۡبَةࣰۚ یَخۡلُقُ مَا یَشَاۤءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ ٱلۡقَدِیرُ ﴿٥٤﴾

Eebe waa kan idin ka abuuray Tabaryare, hadana idinka yeelay Tabaryare ka dib xoog, hadana xoog dabadi idinka yeelay Tabaryari iyo Gabow, wuxuu doono yuu abuuraa, waana wax walba oge, wax walba karc (oo uu doono)

Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent

وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یُقۡسِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ غَیۡرَ سَاعَةࣲۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ كَانُوا۟ یُؤۡفَكُونَ ﴿٥٥﴾

maalinta Qiyaamadu kacdo waxay ku dhaartaan dambiilayaashu inayan nagaanin Saacad mooyee, saasaana (xaqa) looga leexiyey

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَٱلۡإِیمَـٰنَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِی كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡبَعۡثِۖ فَهَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٥٦﴾

kuwii waxay dheheen cilmiga iyo Iimaanka la siiyey waad ku nagaateen Qadarka Eebe tan iyo maalinta soobixinta, kanna waa maalintii soobixinta, laakiin waxaad ahaydeen kuwo aan ogayn

But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah 's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know

فَیَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّا یَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ ﴿٥٧﴾

Maanta (Qiyaamada) ma anfacdo kuwii dulmiga falay cudur daar iyo toobad keen

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]

وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِی هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلࣲۚ وَلَئِن جِئۡتَهُم بِءَایَةࣲ لَّیَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُبۡطِلُونَ ﴿٥٨﴾

dhab ahaanbaan ugu caddaynay Dadka Quraankan dhexdiisa tusaale kasta, haddaadna ula timaado aayad waxay dhihi kuwii Gaaloobay waxaan baadhil (xumaan) ahayn kuma sugnidin

And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers

كَذَ ٰلِكَ یَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٥٩﴾

saasaa Eebe u daboolaa Quluubta kuwaan wax ogayn (wax anfaca)

Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know

فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّۖ وَلَا یَسۡتَخِفَّنَّكَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُوقِنُونَ ﴿٦٠﴾

ee samir yabooha Eebe waa xaqe, yeyna ku fududayn kuwaan yaqiinsanayn (Xaqa)

So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith]
