Surah Al-Furqaan سُورَةُ الفُرۡقَانِ

۞ تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِی نَزَّلَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ لِیَكُونَ لِلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ نَذِیرًا ﴿١﴾

Waxaa Khayr Batay (oo wayn) Eebaha ku soo Dejiyey Quraanka Addoonkiisii (Nabiga) inuu u ahaado Caalamka u Dige

Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner

ٱلَّذِی لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَمۡ یَتَّخِذۡ وَلَدࣰا وَلَمۡ یَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِیكࣱ فِی ٱلۡمُلۡكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقۡدِیرࣰا ﴿٢﴾

Eebaha uu u Sugnaaday Xukunka Samooyinka iyo Dhulka, Yeelaninna Ilmo una Sugnaanin Shariig (la Wadaage) Xukunka, Abuurayna wax kasta, oo u ahaysiiyey si Qiyaasan

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination

وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦۤ ءَالِهَةࣰ لَّا یَخۡلُقُونَ شَیۡءࣰا وَهُمۡ یُخۡلَقُونَ وَلَا یَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ ضَرࣰّا وَلَا نَفۡعࣰا وَلَا یَمۡلِكُونَ مَوۡتࣰا وَلَا حَیَوٰةࣰ وَلَا نُشُورࣰا ﴿٣﴾

Waxay ka Yeesheen Eebe ka Sokow Ilaahyo oon Abuurayn waxba Iyagana la Abuuri una hananayn Naftooda Dhib iyo Nacfi (Midna) oonan hananayn Geeri iyo Nolol iyo soo Bixin (midna)

But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ إِفۡكٌ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَیۡهِ قَوۡمٌ ءَاخَرُونَۖ فَقَدۡ جَاۤءُو ظُلۡمࣰا وَزُورࣰا ﴿٤﴾

Waxay Dheheen Gaaladii kani (quraanku) ma aha waxaan Been Abuur ahayn, uu la Yimid, Uguna Kaalmeeyeen Qoom kale, waxay la Yimaadeen Dulmi iyo Been (Daran)

And those who disbelieve say, "This [Qur'an] is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie

وَقَالُوۤا۟ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ٱكۡتَتَبَهَا فَهِیَ تُمۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِیلࣰا ﴿٥﴾

Waxay Dheheen waa Warkii Dadkii Hore oos ka Qoray Iyadaana loo Yeedhiyaa Aroor iyo Galabba

And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon

قُلۡ أَنزَلَهُ ٱلَّذِی یَعۡلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا ﴿٦﴾

Waxaad Dhahdaa waxaa soo Dejiyey Eebaha Og waxa ku Qarsoon Samooyinka iyo Dhulka Waana Dambi Dhaafe Naxariista

Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful

وَقَالُوا۟ مَالِ هَـٰذَا ٱلرَّسُولِ یَأۡكُلُ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَیَمۡشِی فِی ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِ لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡهِ مَلَكࣱ فَیَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِیرًا ﴿٧﴾

Waxay dheheen Gaaladii Muxuu leeyahay Rasuulkani oos u Cuni Cunto una Socon Suuqa, maa loo Soo Dejiyo Malag oo ahaado mid la Diga

And they say, "What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner

أَوۡ یُلۡقَىٰۤ إِلَیۡهِ كَنزٌ أَوۡ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنَّةࣱ یَأۡكُلُ مِنۡهَاۚ وَقَالَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلࣰا مَّسۡحُورًا ﴿٨﴾

Ama maa loo Tuuro (Dejiyo) Kansi ama u ahaato Beer uu wax ka Cuno Xageeda, waxayna Dheheen Daalimiintu ma Raacaysaan waxaan Nin Sixran ahayn

Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him [from heaven], or does he [not] have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic

ٱنظُرۡ كَیۡفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَـٰلَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ سَبِیلࣰا ﴿٩﴾

Bal day siday kuugu Yeeleen Tusaale oy u Dhumeen una Karin (Qaadidda) Jidka (Xaqa)

Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot [find] a way

تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِیۤ إِن شَاۤءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَیۡرࣰا مِّن ذَ ٰلِكَ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ وَیَجۡعَل لَّكَ قُصُورَۢا ﴿١٠﴾

Waxaa Khayr Badan Eebaha Hadduu Doono kuu Yeeli wax ka Khayrroon Taas, Jannooyinna (Kuu yeeli) oy Socolo Dhexdeeda Wabiyaal Kuuna Yeeli Daaro (Janno)

Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces

بَلۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِیرًا ﴿١١﴾

Waxayse Beeniyeen Saacadda (Qiyaame) waxaana u Darabnay Ciddii Beenisa Saacadda Naarta Saciira

But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze

إِذَا رَأَتۡهُم مِّن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِیدࣲ سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا تَغَیُّظࣰا وَزَفِیرࣰا ﴿١٢﴾

Markay ka Aragto Meel Fog waxay ka Maqlaan Cadho iyo Guux

When the Hellfire sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring

وَإِذَاۤ أُلۡقُوا۟ مِنۡهَا مَكَانࣰا ضَیِّقࣰا مُّقَرَّنِینَ دَعَوۡا۟ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورࣰا ﴿١٣﴾

Marka lagu Tuuro Dhexdeeda Meel Cidhiidhi ah Iyagoo isku Xidhan waxay u Yeedhaan Halaag, iyo (Khasaare)

And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction

لَّا تَدۡعُوا۟ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ ثُبُورࣰا وَ ٰحِدࣰا وَٱدۡعُوا۟ ثُبُورࣰا كَثِیرࣰا ﴿١٤﴾

(Waxaana la Dhihi) Howyeedhanina Maanta Halaag Kaliya ee u Yeedha Halaag Badan

[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction

قُلۡ أَذَ ٰلِكَ خَیۡرٌ أَمۡ جَنَّةُ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ ٱلَّتِی وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۚ كَانَتۡ لَهُمۡ جَزَاۤءࣰ وَمَصِیرࣰا ﴿١٥﴾

Waxaad Dhahdaa Ma Taasaa Khayrroon mise Jannada Waaridda ee ah Middii loo Yaboohay kuwa Dhawrsada, waxayna u Ahaatay Kuwaas (Dhawrsada) Abaal Marin iyo Noqosho

Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination

لَّهُمۡ فِیهَا مَا یَشَاۤءُونَ خَـٰلِدِینَۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعۡدࣰا مَّسۡءُولࣰا ﴿١٦﴾

Waxayna ka Helayaan Dhexdeeda waxay Doonaan wayna ku Waari, Arrintaasuna waa Yabooh Isaaray Eebaha oo Sugan

For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested

وَیَوۡمَ یَحۡشُرُهُمۡ وَمَا یَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَیَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمۡ أَضۡلَلۡتُمۡ عِبَادِی هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ أَمۡ هُمۡ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِیلَ ﴿١٧﴾

Xusuusta Maalintaan Kulminayno Gaalada iyo waxay Caabudi oo Eebe ka soo Hadhay oos ku Dhihi Ma idinkaa Dhumiyey Addoomadaydaas, Mise Iyahgaa ka Dhumay Jidka

And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way

قَالُوا۟ سُبۡحَـٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ یَنۢبَغِی لَنَاۤ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنۡ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ وَلَـٰكِن مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ وَءَابَاۤءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا۟ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوۡمَۢا بُورࣰا ﴿١٨﴾

Waxayna Odhun Waad Nastahantahay Naguma Habboona Inaan Yeelanno Adi ka Sokow Awliyo (Gargaare), waadse u Raaxaysay iyaga iyo Aabayaalkood Intay ka Halmaamaan Waxyiga, waxayna Noqdeen kuwa Halaagsamay

They will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined

فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسۡتَطِیعُونَ صَرۡفࣰا وَلَا نَصۡرࣰاۚ وَمَن یَظۡلِم مِّنكُمۡ نُذِقۡهُ عَذَابࣰا كَبِیرࣰا ﴿١٩﴾

Way Idinku Beeniyeen waxaad Sheegaysaan mana Kartaan Furasho iyo Gargaar midna, Ciddii wax Dulmida oo Idinka midah Waxaannu Dhadhansiin Cadaab Wayn

So they will deny you, [disbelievers], in what you say, and you cannot avert [punishment] or [find] help. And whoever commits injustice among you - We will make him taste a great punishment

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا قَبۡلَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ إِلَّاۤ إِنَّهُمۡ لَیَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَیَمۡشُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِۗ وَجَعَلۡنَا بَعۡضَكُمۡ لِبَعۡضࣲ فِتۡنَةً أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِیرࣰا ﴿٢٠﴾

Manaan Dirin Rasuul kaa Horeeyey oon Cunayn Cunnada Soconaynna Suuqa, waxaana uga Yeellay Qaarkiin Qaarka kale Fidmo (Ibtilo) ee ma Samraysaan, Eebahaana waa Arke

And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing

۞ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَرۡجُونَ لِقَاۤءَنَا لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤئِكَةُ أَوۡ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَاۗ لَقَدِ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَعَتَوۡ عُتُوࣰّا كَبِیرࣰا ﴿٢١﴾

Waxay Dheheen Kuwaan Rajaynayn la kulankanaga naloogu soo Dejinwaayey Malaa'ig, ama maan Aragno Eebahanno, way Iskibriyeen (isula waynaadeen) Naftooda wayna Madax Adaygeen Madax Adayg Wayn

And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence

یَوۡمَ یَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤئِكَةَ لَا بُشۡرَىٰ یَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ وَیَقُولُونَ حِجۡرࣰا مَّحۡجُورࣰا ﴿٢٢﴾

Maalintay Arki Malaa'igta (Geerida) ma Bishaaraystaan Maalintaas Dambiila Yaashu, waxayna Odhan Xijaab oodan iyo Reebnaan yaa ah (Wanaag iyo Isla kulan majiro)

The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible

وَقَدِمۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنۡ عَمَلࣲ فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ هَبَاۤءࣰ مَّنثُورًا ﴿٢٣﴾

Waannu u soo Hormarinay waxay Faleen oo Camal ah Waxaana ka yeelay Dhalanteed la Firdhiyey

And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed

أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ یَوۡمَئِذٍ خَیۡرࣱ مُّسۡتَقَرࣰّا وَأَحۡسَنُ مَقِیلࣰا ﴿٢٤﴾

Ehelu Jannaha yaa Maalintaas Khayr Roon Sugnaansho iyo Wanaag badan Qayluushi (Hurdo)

The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place

وَیَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ بِٱلۡغَمَـٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤئِكَةُ تَنزِیلًا ﴿٢٥﴾

Xusuuso Maalintay Samadu la Dillaaci Daruuraha, lana soo Dejin Malaa'igta soo Dejin

And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent

ٱلۡمُلۡكُ یَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡحَقُّ لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِۚ وَكَانَ یَوۡمًا عَلَى ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ عَسِیرࣰا ﴿٢٦﴾

Xukunka Maalintaas ee Xaqa ah waxaa iska leh Eebaha Raxmaana, Waana Maalin Gaalada ku Daran

True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day

وَیَوۡمَ یَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ یَدَیۡهِ یَقُولُ یَـٰلَیۡتَنِی ٱتَّخَذۡتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِیلࣰا ﴿٢٧﴾

Xusuusana Maalintuu Qaniini Daalimku Gacantiisa (Faraha) Isagoo Dhihi Shalleytee maan Yeesho la Jirka Rasuulka Jid (maan Rumeeyo)

And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way

یَـٰوَیۡلَتَىٰ لَیۡتَنِی لَمۡ أَتَّخِذۡ فُلَانًا خَلِیلࣰا ﴿٢٨﴾

Halaag iyo Shalleytee Maxaan hebel Saaciib uga Yeeshay

Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend

لَّقَدۡ أَضَلَّنِی عَنِ ٱلذِّكۡرِ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ جَاۤءَنِیۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ خَذُولࣰا ﴿٢٩﴾

Wuxuu iga Leexiyey Quraanka intuu ii yimid ka Dib, Shaydaanna Dadka Wuxuu u Yahay Dayace (Mee Xun kaga tage)

He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ یَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِی ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورࣰا ﴿٣٠﴾

Wuxuu Yidhi Rasuulkuna Eebow Qoomkaygii waxay ka Yeesheen Quraankan mid laga Tagay (Ma Maqlaan)

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned

وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِیٍّ عَدُوࣰّا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِیࣰا وَنَصِیرࣰا ﴿٣١﴾

Saasaan ugu Yeellay Nabi kasta Col Dambiilayaal ah, Eebana ku Filan Hanuuniye iyo Gargaare

And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ جُمۡلَةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَۖ وَرَتَّلۡنَـٰهُ تَرۡتِیلࣰا ﴿٣٢﴾

Waxay Dheheen kuwii gaaloobay maa lagu Soo Dejiyo Nabiga Quraanka Mar kaliya (Isagoo dhan) saasaan Yeellay, inaan ku Sugno Qalbigaaga, waana kugu Akhriyeynaa Akhrin (Fiican)

And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly

وَلَا یَأۡتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئۡنَـٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَحۡسَنَ تَفۡسِیرًا ﴿٣٣﴾

Wixii Tusaale ah oy Kuula Yimaadaanna waxaannu Kuugula imaan Xaq iyo Fasiraadda u Fiican

And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation

ٱلَّذِینَ یُحۡشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ شَرࣱّ مَّكَانࣰا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِیلࣰا ﴿٣٤﴾

Kuwa lagu soo Kulmin Wajigooda (Naarta) Jahannamo kuwaasu waa kuwa u Xun meel uguna Dhumid Badan Jid

The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَجَعَلۡنَا مَعَهُۥۤ أَخَاهُ هَـٰرُونَ وَزِیرࣰا ﴿٣٥﴾

Waxaana Siinay Nabi Muuse Kitaabkii Waxaana ka Yeellay la Jirkiisa Walaalkiis Haaruun Wasiir

And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant

فَقُلۡنَا ٱذۡهَبَاۤ إِلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرۡنَـٰهُمۡ تَدۡمِیرࣰا ﴿٣٦﴾

Waxaana Nidhi Aada Qoomkii beeniyey Aayaadkanaga Waana baabi'inay (Halaagnay) baabi'in, (Halaagnay)

And We said, "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs." Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغۡرَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُمۡ لِلنَّاسِ ءَایَةࣰۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِینَ عَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا ﴿٣٧﴾

(Xusuuso) Qoomkii Nabi Nuux, Markay Beeniyeen Rasuulladii Yaan Maan-Sheynay Ugana Yeellay Dadka Calaamad, Waxaana u Darabnay Daalimiinta Cadaab Daran

And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment

وَعَادࣰا وَثَمُودَا۟ وَأَصۡحَـٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونَۢا بَیۡنَ ذَ ٰلِكَ كَثِیرࣰا ﴿٣٨﴾

Caadna waan Halaagnay iyo Thamuud, iyo Rasi (Ceelkii) Ehelkiisii, iyo Quruumo Intaas u Dhaxeeyey oo Badan

And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them

وَكُلࣰّا ضَرَبۡنَا لَهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَـٰلَۖ وَكُلࣰّا تَبَّرۡنَا تَتۡبِیرࣰا ﴿٣٩﴾

Dhammaan waxaan u Yeellay Tusaale Dhammaanna waan Halaagnay Halaag

And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction

وَلَقَدۡ أَتَوۡا۟ عَلَى ٱلۡقَرۡیَةِ ٱلَّتِیۤ أُمۡطِرَتۡ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوۡءِۚ أَفَلَمۡ یَكُونُوا۟ یَرَوۡنَهَاۚ بَلۡ كَانُوا۟ لَا یَرۡجُونَ نُشُورࣰا ﴿٤٠﴾

Way Tageen Gaaladu Magaaladii lagu soo Daadiyey Roob Xun (Dhagax Cadaab) Miyeyna Arkeyn, waxayse Ahaayeen kuwaan Rajaynayn (ka yaabayn) soo kulmin

And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil. So have they not seen it? But they are not expecting resurrection

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡكَ إِن یَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِی بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا ﴿٤١﴾

Hadday ku Arkaan Gaaladu waxay kaa yeeshaan Jees Jees, iyagoo (Dhihi) ma kanaa kan Eebe Soo Bixiyey Isagoo Rasuul ah

And when they see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger

إِن كَادَ لَیُضِلُّنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوۡلَاۤ أَن صَبَرۡنَا عَلَیۡهَاۚ وَسَوۡفَ یَعۡلَمُونَ حِینَ یَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِیلًا ﴿٤٢﴾

Wuxuu U dhawaaday inuu Naga dhumiyo Ilaahyadanada Haddaanaan ku Samrin, (ku adkaysan) waxay Ogaadaan Markay Arkaan Cadaabka Cidda Dhunsan

He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way

أَرَءَیۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَـٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَیۡهِ وَكِیلًا ﴿٤٣﴾

Ka Warran Ruux ka Yeeshay Ilaahiisa Hawadiisa (Suu Jecelyahay) Ma adaa Wakiil (Ilaaliye) ka Noqon

Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him

أَمۡ تَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ یَسۡمَعُونَ أَوۡ یَعۡقِلُونَۚ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا كَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِیلًا ﴿٤٤﴾

Mise waxaad u Malayn in Badankood wax Maqli ama wax kasi, ma aha waxaan Xoolo oo kale ahayn, Iyagaabase ka Sii Dhunsan

Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَیۡفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنࣰا ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ عَلَیۡهِ دَلِیلࣰا ﴿٤٥﴾

Miyeydaan Ogayn sida Eebe u Fidiyo hadhka, hadduu Doonana wuxuu ka Yeeli lahaa Mid Xasillan (Taagan) markaasaan ugu Yeellay Qorraxda korkiisa Daliil (Xujo)

Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication

ثُمَّ قَبَضۡنَـٰهُ إِلَیۡنَا قَبۡضࣰا یَسِیرࣰا ﴿٤٦﴾

Markaasaan u Soo qabanaa Xagganaga Qabasho Yar

Then We hold it in hand for a brief grasp

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّیۡلَ لِبَاسࣰا وَٱلنَّوۡمَ سُبَاتࣰا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورࣰا ﴿٤٧﴾

Eebe waa kan Idinka Yeelay Habeenka Astur, Hurdadana Raaxo, kana yeelay Maalinta soo Kulan (Dhaqdhaqaaq)

And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّیَـٰحَ بُشۡرَۢا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡ رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ طَهُورࣰا ﴿٤٨﴾

Eebe (Sareeye) waa kan u Dira Dabaysha Bishaaro Darteed Naxariistiisa (Roobka) Hortiisa, Waxaana ka soo Dejinay Samada Biyo wax Daahiriya

And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy, and We send down from the sky pure water

لِّنُحۡـِۧیَ بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةࣰ مَّیۡتࣰا وَنُسۡقِیَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقۡنَاۤ أَنۡعَـٰمࣰا وَأَنَاسِیَّ كَثِیرࣰا ﴿٤٩﴾

Inaan ku Nooleyno Magaalo Dhimatay oon kuna Waraabino waxaan Abuuray, Xoolo iyo Dad Badan

That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men

وَلَقَدۡ صَرَّفۡنَـٰهُ بَیۡنَهُمۡ لِیَذَّكَّرُوا۟ فَأَبَىٰۤ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورࣰا ﴿٥٠﴾

Waana ku kala Duwnay «Badinay» Dhexdooda, inay Xusuustaan, Wuuna Diiday Dadka Badidiis waxaan Gaalnimo Badan ahayn

And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief

وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَبَعَثۡنَا فِی كُلِّ قَرۡیَةࣲ نَّذِیرࣰا ﴿٥١﴾

Haddaan Doonno waxaan ka Bixin Lahayn Magaalo Kasta Dige (Nabi)

And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner

فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ وَجَـٰهِدۡهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادࣰا كَبِیرࣰا ﴿٥٢﴾

ee ha Adeecin Gaalaga kulana Jahaad Quraanka Jahaad Weyn

So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving

۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَیۡنِ هَـٰذَا عَذۡبࣱ فُرَاتࣱ وَهَـٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجࣱ وَجَعَلَ بَیۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخࣰا وَحِجۡرࣰا مَّحۡجُورࣰا ﴿٥٣﴾

Eebe wuu isku daraa Labada Badood, Kaasi waa Macaan Daran, kaasna waa Khadhaadh Daran (Afku Diido) yeelayna Dhexdooda Soohdin iyo Xaajis Awdan

And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلۡمَاۤءِ بَشَرࣰا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبࣰا وَصِهۡرࣰاۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِیرࣰا ﴿٥٤﴾

Eebana waa kan ka Abuuray Biyaha Dad kana Yeelay Qaraabo iyo Soddognimo, Eebahaana wuu karaa (Wuxuu Doono)

And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation]

وَیَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَنفَعُهُمۡ وَلَا یَضُرُّهُمۡۗ وَكَانَ ٱلۡكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِیرࣰا ﴿٥٥﴾

Waxayna Caabudi Gaaladu Eebe ka Sokow waxaan Anfacayn Dhibayna Gaalna wuxuu ahaaday mid ka soo hor Jeeda Eebihiis

But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan]

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرࣰا وَنَذِیرࣰا ﴿٥٦﴾

Maa naan kuu Dirin inaad Bishaareeye Dige ah (Noqoto Mooyee)

And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner

قُلۡ مَاۤ أَسۡءَلُكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَاۤءَ أَن یَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِیلࣰا ﴿٥٧﴾

Waxaad Dhahdaa Idinkama warsado (Xaqa Gaadhsiintiisa) UJuuro Ruuxiise dooni inuu ka Yeesho Eebehiis Xaggiisa Waddo (Khayr ha falo)

Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way

وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱلۡحَیِّ ٱلَّذِی لَا یَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِهِۦۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِیرًا ﴿٥٨﴾

Talo Saaro Eebaha Nool een Dhimanayn una Tasbiixso adoo Mahdin, Eebaana ku Filaan Dambiga Addomadiisa Ogaanshihiisa

And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted

ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامࣲ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ فَسۡءَلۡ بِهِۦ خَبِیرࣰا ﴿٥٩﴾

Waana Eebaha ku Abuuray Samooyinka iyo Dhulka iyo Waxa u Dhexeeya Lix Maalmood, kuna Istawooday Carshiga (Si u Cununta), ee Warso Cid wax Og

He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅ا۟̅ لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ أَنَسۡجُدُ لِمَا تَأۡمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمۡ نُفُورࣰا ۩ ﴿٦٠﴾

Marka la Dhaho u Sujuuda (Eebaha) Raxmaan ah waxay Dhahaan Muxuu Yahay Raxmaan, ma waxaan u Sujuudeynaa waxaad na Farayso, wuxuuna u Kordhiyey Carar

And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion

تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ بُرُوجࣰا وَجَعَلَ فِیهَا سِرَ ٰجࣰا وَقَمَرࣰا مُّنِیرࣰا ﴿٦١﴾

Waxaa Khayr Badnaaday Eebaha Yeela Samada Burjiyo Yeelayna Dhexdeeda Siraaj (Qorrax) iyo dayax ifi

Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ ٱلَّیۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلۡفَةࣰ لِّمَنۡ أَرَادَ أَن یَذَّكَّرَ أَوۡ أَرَادَ شُكُورࣰا ﴿٦٢﴾

Eebana waa Ilaah uga Yeelay Habeenka iyo Maalinta Isbaddel Ciddii Doonta inuu wax Xusuusto ama Doono inuu Mahdiyo

And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude

وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنࣰا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمࣰا ﴿٦٣﴾

Addoomada Eebaha Raxmaana waa kuwa u Socda Dhulka Xasillooni, markay la Hadlaan (Af Xumeeyaan) Jaahilliinna Yidhaahda Nabadgalyo

And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace

وَٱلَّذِینَ یَبِیتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمۡ سُجَّدࣰا وَقِیَـٰمࣰا ﴿٦٤﴾

ee ah Kuwa ku Barya (Habeenkii) Iyagoo u Sujuudi oo u Istaagi (Cibaado) Eebe

And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer]

وَٱلَّذِینَ یَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱصۡرِفۡ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا ﴿٦٥﴾

ee Ah kuwa Dhihi Ilaahow naga Iil Cadaabka Jahannamo, Cadaabkeedu waa joogtee

And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering

إِنَّهَا سَاۤءَتۡ مُسۡتَقَرࣰّا وَمُقَامࣰا ﴿٦٦﴾

Iyaduna waxay u Xuntahay ku Sugnaansho iyo ku Nagaadi

Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence

وَٱلَّذِینَ إِذَاۤ أَنفَقُوا۟ لَمۡ یُسۡرِفُوا۟ وَلَمۡ یَقۡتُرُوا۟ وَكَانَ بَیۡنَ ذَ ٰلِكَ قَوَامࣰا ﴿٦٧﴾

Ee ah kuwa Markay wax Bixiyaan aan Xad gudbin Cidhiidhyinna, oo intaas Dhexdeeda ku Tolosnaada

And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate

وَٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَدۡعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا یَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِی حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا یَزۡنُونَۚ وَمَن یَفۡعَلۡ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَلۡقَ أَثَامࣰا ﴿٦٨﴾

Ee ah kuwaan Caabudayn Eebe La Jirkiisa Ilaah kale, oona Dilayn Naftuu Eebe Xarrimay Dilkeeda Xaq Mooyee oon Zinaysanayn, Ciddii Saas fashana waxay la Kulmi Dambi

And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty

یُضَـٰعَفۡ لَهُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ وَیَخۡلُدۡ فِیهِۦ مُهَانًا ﴿٦٩﴾

Waxaana loo Laab laabi Cadaabka Maalinta Qiyaame wuuna ku Waari Dhexdiisa Isagoo Dullaysan

Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated

إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلࣰا صَـٰلِحࣰا فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ یُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَیِّءَاتِهِمۡ حَسَنَـٰتࣲۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا ﴿٧٠﴾

Ciddii Toobad keenta oo Rumaysa oo Fasha Camal Fiican Mooyee, oo kuwaas waxaa loogu Badali Xumaantooda Wanaag, Eebana waa Dambi Dhaafe Naxariista

Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful

وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا فَإِنَّهُۥ یَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابࣰا ﴿٧١﴾

Ruuxii Toobad keena oo Fala Wanaag wuxuu u Noqon Eebe Noqosho

And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance

وَٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَشۡهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغۡوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامࣰا ﴿٧٢﴾

(Kuwa Fiican) waa kuwaan Furayn Been, Markay Maqlaan Hadal Xunna Mara iyagoo Wanaagsan (Ka Jeedsada)

And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity

وَٱلَّذِینَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَمۡ یَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَیۡهَا صُمࣰّا وَعُمۡیَانࣰا ﴿٧٣﴾

Waana kuwa marka lagu Waaniyo Aayaadka Eebahooda aaan Dhicin Dhago iyo Indho La'aan

And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind

وَٱلَّذِینَ یَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَ ٰجِنَا وَذُرِّیَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡیُنࣲ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِینَ إِمَامًا ﴿٧٤﴾

waana kuwa Dhihi Eebow nagasii (naga tusi) Haweenkanaga iyo Caruurtanada wax Ishu ku Qabowsato, noogana yeel kuwa Dhawrsada Imaam

And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous

أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ یُجۡزَوۡنَ ٱلۡغُرۡفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَیُلَقَّوۡنَ فِیهَا تَحِیَّةࣰ وَسَلَـٰمًا ﴿٧٥﴾

Kuwaas waxaa lagu Abaal marin Fooqa (Janno) Samirkooddi Dartiis waxayna kula Kulmi dhexdeeda Salaan iyo soo Dhawayn

Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace

خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۚ حَسُنَتۡ مُسۡتَقَرࣰّا وَمُقَامࣰا ﴿٧٦﴾

Wayna ku waari Dhexdeeda waxaana u Wanaagsan Janada ku Sugnaan iyo Nagaadiba

Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence

قُلۡ مَا یَعۡبَؤُا۟ بِكُمۡ رَبِّی لَوۡلَا دُعَاۤؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ یَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا ﴿٧٧﴾

Waxaadna Dhahdaa Idiinma Aabo Yeeleen Eebahay Haddaydaan Baryeyn (Illeen) waad beeniseen (Xaqee) wuxuuna ahaan mid idin Laasima Beeninta «Ciqaabta»

Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent
