Surah Al-Fil سُورَةُ الفِيلِ

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَیۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلۡفِیلِ ﴿١﴾

Ma Ogtahay sida Eeba ku falay asaxaabtii Maroodiga «Colkii»

Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant

أَلَمۡ یَجۡعَلۡ كَیۡدَهُمۡ فِی تَضۡلِیلࣲ ﴿٢﴾

Miyaan Eebe ka yeelin dhagartoodii wax dhumay

Did He not make their plan into misguidance

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ طَیۡرًا أَبَابِیلَ ﴿٣﴾

Oosan ku dirin korkooda Shimbiro kooxa ah

And He sent against them birds in flocks

تَرۡمِیهِم بِحِجَارَةࣲ مِّن سِجِّیلࣲ ﴿٤﴾

Kuna tuuraysa Dhagaxyo la kululeeyay

Striking them with stones of hard clay

فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفࣲ مَّأۡكُولِۭ ﴿٥﴾

Markaas Eebe ka yeelay Bal la daaqay sidiis

And He made them like eaten straw
