Surah Al-Hujuraat سُورَةُ الحُجُرَاتِ

۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَیۡنَ یَدَیِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمࣱ ﴿١﴾

Kuwa xaqarumeeyow ha ku dagdagina Eebe iyo Rasuulkiisa hortiisa (waxayan fasixin), Eebana ka dhawrsada ileen wax walba wuu maqli wuuna ogyahaye

O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allah and His Messenger but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرۡفَعُوۤا۟ أَصۡوَ ٰتَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ صَوۡتِ ٱلنَّبِیِّ وَلَا تَجۡهَرُوا۟ لَهُۥ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ كَجَهۡرِ بَعۡضِكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ أَن تَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَـٰلُكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ ﴿٢﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyow ha ka koryeelina codkiinna codka Nabiga, hana kula jahrina (qaylina) hadal sida qaarkiin qaar ugula jahro (qaylyo) si aan camalkiinnu u burin idinkoon agayn

O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَغُضُّونَ أَصۡوَ ٰتَهُمۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱمۡتَحَنَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةࣱ وَأَجۡرٌ عَظِیمٌ ﴿٣﴾

kuwa codkooda hoos u dhiga Rasuulka agtiisa kuwaasi waa kuwo Eebe imtixaanay quluubtooda dhawrsasho darteed, waxayna mudanyihiin dambi dhaaf iyo ajri wayn

Indeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah - they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for righteousness. For them is forgiveness and great reward

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَاۤءِ ٱلۡحُجُرَ ٰتِ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا یَعۡقِلُونَ ﴿٤﴾

kuwa kaaga dhawaaqi qolalka gadaashooda badankoodu wax ma kasayaan

Indeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason

وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ صَبَرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ تَخۡرُجَ إِلَیۡهِمۡ لَكَانَ خَیۡرࣰا لَّهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ ﴿٥﴾

Hadday samraan intaad uga soo bixi yaa u khayr badnaan lahayda, Eebana waa dambi dhaafe naxariista

And if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِن جَاۤءَكُمۡ فَاسِقُۢ بِنَبَإࣲ فَتَبَیَّنُوۤا۟ أَن تُصِیبُوا۟ قَوۡمَۢا بِجَهَـٰلَةࣲ فَتُصۡبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلۡتُمۡ نَـٰدِمِینَ ﴿٦﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyow hadduu idiinla yimaaddo faasiq war, hubsada, si aydaan dad u dhibin ogaansho la'aan, markaasna aad shallaydaan waxaad fasheen

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful

وَٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّ فِیكُمۡ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِۚ لَوۡ یُطِیعُكُمۡ فِی كَثِیرࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ لَعَنِتُّمۡ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡإِیمَـٰنَ وَزَیَّنَهُۥ فِی قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ وَٱلۡفُسُوقَ وَٱلۡعِصۡیَانَۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّ ٰشِدُونَ ﴿٧﴾

Ogaadana in Rasuulkii Eebe idin dhexjoogo, hadduu idinku addeeco waxyaala hadanna aad dhibboonaysaan, wuxuuse Eebe idinla jeclaaday limaan, una qurxiyay quluubtiinna, wuxuuna idinla nacay gaalnimo, faasiqnimo iyo caasinnimo, kuwaasina waa kuwa hanuunsan

And know that among you is the Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided

فَضۡلࣰا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَنِعۡمَةࣰۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ حَكِیمࣱ ﴿٨﴾

Waa fadliga (siinta) Eebe iyo naxriistiisa, Eebana wax walba waa ogyahay, waana falsame

[It is] as bounty from Allah and favor. And Allah is Knowing and Wise

وَإِن طَاۤئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ٱقۡتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَیۡنَهُمَاۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ فَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِی تَبۡغِی حَتَّىٰ تَفِیۤءَ إِلَىٰۤ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن فَاۤءَتۡ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَیۡنَهُمَا بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَأَقۡسِطُوۤا۟ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِینَ ﴿٩﴾

Hadday Laba qolo oo mu'miniinta ah dagaallamaan heshiisiiya dhexdooda, hadday midu ku xadgudubto tan kale la dirira tan xadgudubtay intay amarka Eebe uga noqoto (xaqa aqoonsato), Hadday u noqotana si caddaalad ah u wanaajiya dhexdooda una garsoora, Eebe wuxuu jecelahay kuwa garsooree

And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةࣱ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَیۡنَ أَخَوَیۡكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

Mu'miniintu waa uun walaala, ee wanaajiya walaalihiin dhexdooda, Eebana ka dhawrsada, waxaad u dhawdihiin inuu idiin naxariistee

The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا یَسۡخَرۡ قَوۡمࣱ مِّن قَوۡمٍ عَسَىٰۤ أَن یَكُونُوا۟ خَیۡرࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا نِسَاۤءࣱ مِّن نِّسَاۤءٍ عَسَىٰۤ أَن یَكُنَّ خَیۡرࣰا مِّنۡهُنَّۖ وَلَا تَلۡمِزُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا۟ بِٱلۡأَلۡقَـٰبِۖ بِئۡسَ ٱلِٱسۡمُ ٱلۡفُسُوقُ بَعۡدَ ٱلۡإِیمَـٰنِۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ یَتُبۡ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ﴿١١﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyow yuuna yasin Ragna Rag (kale) waxay u dhawdahay inuu ka khayr badanyahaye, Haweenna yayna haween yasin waxay u dhawyihiin inay ka khayr badanyihiine, hana ceebeynina Naftiinna, hana isugu dhawaaqina naanays xun, waxaa xun magaca faasiqinimada iimaan kadib, Ciddaan tawbad keeninna waa daalimiin

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱجۡتَنِبُوا۟ كَثِیرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعۡضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثۡمࣱۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا۟ وَلَا یَغۡتَب بَّعۡضُكُم بَعۡضًاۚ أَیُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن یَأۡكُلَ لَحۡمَ أَخِیهِ مَیۡتࣰا فَكَرِهۡتُمُوهُۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ ﴿١٢﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyow ka dhawrsada wax badan oo mala ah, maxaa yeelay malaha qaarkiis waa dambi, hana is jaasuusina, qaarkiinna qaar yuusan xamanin, miyuu jecelyahay midkiinna inuu cuno Hilibka walaalkiis oo mayd ah, waad necebtihiin arrintaa, Eebana ka dhawrsada waa tooba aqbale naxariistee

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرࣲ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰكُمۡ شُعُوبࣰا وَقَبَاۤئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوۤا۟ۚ إِنَّ أَكۡرَمَكُمۡ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتۡقَىٰكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِیمٌ خَبِیرࣱ ﴿١٣﴾

Dadow waxaan idinka abuuray lab iyo dhaddig, waxaana idinka yeellay shucuub iyo qabiilooyin si aad isu aqoonsataan, Ruuxase ugu sharaf badan Eebe agtiisa waa ka idiinku dhawrsasho badan, Eebana wax walba waa ogyahay

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted

۞ قَالَتِ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ ءَامَنَّاۖ قُل لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُوا۟ وَلَـٰكِن قُولُوۤا۟ أَسۡلَمۡنَا وَلَمَّا یَدۡخُلِ ٱلۡإِیمَـٰنُ فِی قُلُوبِكُمۡۖ وَإِن تُطِیعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَا یَلِتۡكُم مِّنۡ أَعۡمَـٰلِكُمۡ شَیۡءًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمٌ ﴿١٤﴾

Waxay dheheen ree baadiyihii carbeed waan rumaynay (xaqa), waxaad ku dhahdaa maydaan rumaynin, laakiin dhaha waan hoggansannay, Iimaankuna wali Quluubtiinna ma galin, haddaadse adeecdaan Eebe iyo Rasuulkiisa kama nusqaamiyo camalkiinna waxba, Eebana waa dambi dhaafe naxariista

The bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ لَمۡ یَرۡتَابُوا۟ وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمۡوَ ٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

Kuwa mu'miniinta ah waa kuwa uun rumeeyay Eebe iyo Rasuulkiisa oon shakiyin, kuna Jahada Xoolahooda iyo naftooda jidka Eebe dartiis, kuwaasi waa kuwa runlowga ah

The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful

قُلۡ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ ٱللَّهَ بِدِینِكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣱ ﴿١٦﴾

Waxaad dhahdaa ma Eebbaad usheegaysaan diintiinna isagoo og waxa Samaawaadka iyo Dhulkaba ku sugan, Eebana wax walba waa ogyahay

Say, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things

یَمُنُّونَ عَلَیۡكَ أَنۡ أَسۡلَمُوا۟ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَیَّ إِسۡلَـٰمَكُمۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ یَمُنُّ عَلَیۡكُمۡ أَنۡ هَدَىٰكُمۡ لِلۡإِیمَـٰنِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ ﴿١٧﴾

Waxau kugu mannaysan inay Islaameen, waxaad dhahdaa haygu mannaysanina Islaamkiinna Eebaa manna idinku leh inuu idinku hanuuniyay Iimaanka haddaad run sheegeysaan

They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ غَیۡبَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Eebe waa ogyahay waxa Samaawaadka ku maqan iyo dhulkaba, Eebana waa arkaa waxaad camal falaysaan

Indeed, Allah knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you do
