Surah Fussilat سُورَةُ فُصِّلَتۡ

حمۤ ﴿١﴾

Waxay ku tusin mucjisada Quraanka sida soo hormartay

Ha, Meem

تَنزِیلࣱ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ ﴿٢﴾

Quraanka waa soo dajinta Eebe naxariista guud iyo mid gaaraba naxariista

[This is] a revelation from the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

كِتَـٰبࣱ فُصِّلَتۡ ءَایَـٰتُهُۥ قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِیࣰّا لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٣﴾

Waana Kitaab loo caddeeyey aayaadkiisa isagoo Quraan carabi ku qoran ah ciddii wax garan

A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know

بَشِیرࣰا وَنَذِیرࣰا فَأَعۡرَضَ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا یَسۡمَعُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Waana bishaareeye u dige ah, waase ka jeedsadeen badankoodu waxna ma maqlayaan

As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear

وَقَالُوا۟ قُلُوبُنَا فِیۤ أَكِنَّةࣲ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَاۤ إِلَیۡهِ وَفِیۤ ءَاذَانِنَا وَقۡرࣱ وَمِنۢ بَیۡنِنَا وَبَیۡنِكَ حِجَابࣱ فَٱعۡمَلۡ إِنَّنَا عَـٰمِلُونَ ﴿٥﴾

Waxayna dheheen quluubtanadu waxay kaga sugantahay dabool waxaad noogu yeedhi, dhagahanagana waxaa kaga jira culeys, dhexdanada iyo adigana waxaa ah xijaab, ee camal fal anana waancamalfaleynaaye

And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working

قُلۡ إِنَّمَاۤ أَنَا۠ بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ یُوحَىٰۤ إِلَیَّ أَنَّمَاۤ إِلَـٰهُكُمۡ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰحِدࣱ فَٱسۡتَقِیمُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡهِ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوهُۗ وَوَیۡلࣱ لِّلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ ﴿٦﴾

Waxaad dhahdaa Nabiyow anigu waxaan uun ahay bashar (Dad) idinkookale ah, waxaana la iiwaxyooday in Eebehenno yahay Eebe kaliya, ee u toosnaada xaggiisa, kana dambidhaaf waydiista, halaagna wuxuu u sugnaaday mushrikiinta

Say, O [Muhammad], "I am only a man like you to whom it has been revealed that your god is but one God; so take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness." And woe to those who associate others with Allah

ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ هُمۡ كَـٰفِرُونَ ﴿٧﴾

Kuwaan bixinin zakada ahna aakhiro kuwa ka gaaloobey

Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَیۡرُ مَمۡنُونࣲ ﴿٨﴾

Kuwa xaqa rumeeyeyse oo camalfiican falay waxaa usugnaaday ajri aan guraynin

Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them is a reward uninterrupted

۞ قُلۡ أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِی یَوۡمَیۡنِ وَتَجۡعَلُونَ لَهُۥۤ أَندَادࣰاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ﴿٩﴾

Waxaad dhahdaa Nabiyow idinku ma waxaad ka gaaloobaysaan kan (Eebaha) ku abuuray Dhulka laba maalmood, ood uyeelaysaan kuwo la mid ah, kaasi waa Eebaha Caalamka

Say, "Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds

وَجَعَلَ فِیهَا رَوَ ٰسِیَ مِن فَوۡقِهَا وَبَـٰرَكَ فِیهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِیهَاۤ أَقۡوَ ٰتَهَا فِیۤ أَرۡبَعَةِ أَیَّامࣲ سَوَاۤءࣰ لِّلسَّاۤئِلِینَ ﴿١٠﴾

Wuxuuna yeelay Dhulka dhexdiisa Buuro wuuna barakeeyey dhexdiisa una qadaray (u qiyaasay) Cunnadiisa afar maalmood iyadooy usimantahay dadka weydiin

And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days without distinction - for [the information] of those who ask

ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰۤ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَهِیَ دُخَانࣱ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلۡأَرۡضِ ٱئۡتِیَا طَوۡعًا أَوۡ كَرۡهࣰا قَالَتَاۤ أَتَیۡنَا طَاۤئِعِینَ ﴿١١﴾

Markaasuu Eebe u istawooday (qasday) Cirka oo qiiq ah kuna yidhi Cirka iyo Dhulka ahaada idinkoo adeecsan ama la ikraahi (laqasbi) waxayna dheheen waan nimid anagoo addeecsan

Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly

فَقَضَىٰهُنَّ سَبۡعَ سَمَـٰوَاتࣲ فِی یَوۡمَیۡنِ وَأَوۡحَىٰ فِی كُلِّ سَمَاۤءٍ أَمۡرَهَاۚ وَزَیَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَاۤءَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا بِمَصَـٰبِیحَ وَحِفۡظࣰاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ تَقۡدِیرُ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡعَلِیمِ ﴿١٢﴾

Wuxuuna Eebe ka abuuray Cirka Todobo Samo laba maalmood wuxuuna faray Samo kasta amarkeedii, waxaana ku qurxinay Cirka dhaw Misbaaxyo, waana ilaalinay, taasina waa qadaridda (maamulka) Eebaha adkaada ee wax og

And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing

فَإِنۡ أَعۡرَضُوا۟ فَقُلۡ أَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ صَـٰعِقَةࣰ مِّثۡلَ صَـٰعِقَةِ عَادࣲ وَثَمُودَ ﴿١٣﴾

Hadday ka jeedsadeen Gaaladu (xaqa) waxaad ku dhahdaa Nabiyow waxaan idiinka digi cadaab daran oo lamid ah kii Reer Caad iyo Thamuud

But if they turn away, then say, "I have warned you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt [that struck] 'Aad and Thamud

إِذۡ جَاۤءَتۡهُمُ ٱلرُّسُلُ مِنۢ بَیۡنِ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوۤا۟ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ قَالُوا۟ لَوۡ شَاۤءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَـٰۤئِكَةࣰ فَإِنَّا بِمَاۤ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَـٰفِرُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

Markay ugaga timid Rasuuladii hor iyo gadaalba, iyagoo ku leh ha caabudina waxaan Eebe ahyn, ayna ku dhaheen hadduu doono Eebeheen wuxuu soo dajinlahaa Malaa'ig, anaguna waxa laydiin soo diray waan ka gaaloownay

[That occurred] when the messengers had come to them before them and after them, [saying], "Worship not except Allah." They said, "If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down the angels, so indeed we, in that with which you have been sent, are disbelievers

فَأَمَّا عَادࣱ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَیۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَقَالُوا۟ مَنۡ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةًۖ أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَهُمۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰۖ وَكَانُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا یَجۡحَدُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

Ree Caad iyagu way isku kibriyeen Dhulka xaq darro, waxayna dheheen yaa naga xoog badan miyeyna arag Eebaha abuuray inuu ka xoogbadanyahay waxayna ahaayeen kuwo aayaadkanaga diidan

As for 'Aad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, "Who is greater than us in strength?" Did they not consider that Allah who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs

فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ رِیحࣰا صَرۡصَرࣰا فِیۤ أَیَّامࣲ نَّحِسَاتࣲ لِّنُذِیقَهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخِزۡیِ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ أَخۡزَىٰۖ وَهُمۡ لَا یُنصَرُونَ ﴿١٦﴾

Waxaana ku dirray korkooda Dabayl qaylo daran Todobo Maalmood oo uxun (iyaga) si aan u dhandhansiino cadaabka dulliga Nolosha adduun, cadaabka aakhiraana ka sii dulli badan loomana gargaaro

So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped

وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ فَٱسۡتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلۡعَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ صَـٰعِقَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

Ree thamuud waxaantusinay xaqa, waxayna ka jeeclaadeen indho la'aan (baadi) hanuunkii, waxaana qabtay qaylo cadaab wax dulleeya, waxay kasbanayeen darteed

And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn

وَنَجَّیۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ یَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Waxaana korinay kuwii rumeeyey (xaqa) oo dhawrsan jiray

And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allah

وَیَوۡمَ یُحۡشَرُ أَعۡدَاۤءُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَهُمۡ یُوزَعُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

(u sheeg gaalada) Maalinta lagu kulmin colka Eebe naarta iyagoo is cidhiidhyi

And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire while they are [driven] assembled in rows

حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا مَا جَاۤءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ وَجُلُودُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Markay yimaaddaana uu ku maragfuro korkooda, maqalkooda, aragoodu, iyo haragoodu (jidhkoodu) waxay falijireen

Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do

وَقَالُوا۟ لِجُلُودِهِمۡ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمۡ عَلَیۡنَاۖ قَالُوۤا۟ أَنطَقَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲۚ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةࣲ وَإِلَیۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

ayna ku dhahaan korkooda (Jidhkooda) maxaad noogu marag kacdeen, ayna ku dhahaan waxaa naga hadliyey Eebaha ka hadliya wax kasta, isagaana idin abuuray markii hore xagiisana laydiin celin

And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say, "We were made to speak by Allah, who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned

وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَتِرُونَ أَن یَشۡهَدَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ سَمۡعُكُمۡ وَلَاۤ أَبۡصَـٰرُكُمۡ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمۡ وَلَـٰكِن ظَنَنتُمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَعۡلَمُ كَثِیرࣰا مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Mana aydaan ahayn kuwa iska astura inay ku maragkacaan jidhkiinu, araggiinu iyo haraggiinu, inuusan Eebe ogayn wax badan ood falaysaan

And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do

وَذَ ٰلِكُمۡ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِی ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمۡ أَرۡدَىٰكُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرِینَ ﴿٢٣﴾

kaasina waa malihiinii aad u malayseen Eebihiin isagaana idin halaagay, waxaadna ahateen kuwo khasaaray

And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers

فَإِن یَصۡبِرُوا۟ فَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوࣰى لَّهُمۡۖ وَإِن یَسۡتَعۡتِبُوا۟ فَمَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُعۡتَبِینَ ﴿٢٤﴾

haday samraanna naarbay ku hoyan hadday cudur daar dalbaana lagama aqbalo

So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to appease [Allah], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease

۞ وَقَیَّضۡنَا لَهُمۡ قُرَنَاۤءَ فَزَیَّنُوا۟ لَهُم مَّا بَیۡنَ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَحَقَّ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فِیۤ أُمَمࣲ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ خَـٰسِرِینَ ﴿٢٥﴾

Waxaan u darabnay Gaalada saaxiibo u qurxiya waxa ka horeeya, iyo waxa ka dambeeya, waxaana ku xukunaatay hadalkii Eebe isagoo umada kale ku dhex sugan (oo la cadaabi) oo ka horeeyey Jinni iyo Insina leh waxayna ahaayeen kuwo khasaaray

And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them [of sin], and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَسۡمَعُوا۟ لِهَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَٱلۡغَوۡا۟ فِیهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَغۡلِبُونَ ﴿٢٦﴾

Waxay dhaheen kuwii Gaaloobay ha maqlina Quraanka kuna qaylya (marka la akhrin) waxaad u dhawdihiin inaad adkaataane

And those who disbelieve say, "Do not listen to this Qur'an and speak noisily during [the recitation of] it that perhaps you will overcome

فَلَنُذِیقَنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ عَذَابࣰا شَدِیدࣰا وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّهُمۡ أَسۡوَأَ ٱلَّذِی كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ﴿٢٧﴾

Waxaan dhadhansiinaynaa kuwii Gaaloobay Cadaab daran, waxaana ka abaalmarinaynaa kii ugu xumaa waxay camal falayeen

But We will surely cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe punishment, and We will surely recompense them for the worst of what they had been doing

ذَ ٰلِكَ جَزَاۤءُ أَعۡدَاۤءِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّارُۖ لَهُمۡ فِیهَا دَارُ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ جَزَاۤءَۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا یَجۡحَدُونَ ﴿٢٨﴾

Kaasi waa abaalmarinta colka Eebe, waxayna gali Naar iyadoo u noqon Curi waarid, iyagoo laga abaal marin aayaadkanaga aydiideen

That is the recompense of the enemies of Allah - the Fire. For them therein is the home of eternity as recompense for what they, of Our verses, were rejecting

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّنَاۤ أَرِنَا ٱلَّذَیۡنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ نَجۡعَلۡهُمَا تَحۡتَ أَقۡدَامِنَا لِیَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِینَ ﴿٢٩﴾

Waxay dheheen kuwii Gaaloobay Eebow na tusi labadaas nadhumiyey oo Jinni iyo Insi ah aan yeelo Gomadahanaga hoostoodee si ay u noqdaan kuwo ku hooseeya (Naarta)

And those who disbelieved will [then] say, "Our Lord, show us those who misled us of the jinn and men [so] we may put them under our feet that they will be among the lowest

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَقَـٰمُوا۟ تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤئِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا۟ وَلَا تَحۡزَنُوا۟ وَأَبۡشِرُوا۟ بِٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِی كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ ﴿٣٠﴾

kuwa yidhi Eebahanno waa Alle hadana toosnaaday waxaa ku soo dagta Malaa'igta (markey dhiman iyadoo ku dhihi) ha cabsanina hana murugoonina, kuna bishaareysta Jannadii laydiin yaboohay

Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised

نَحۡنُ أَوۡلِیَاۤؤُكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَفِی ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِیۤ أَنفُسُكُمۡ وَلَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ ﴿٣١﴾

anagaa sokeeye idiin ah nolosha addunyo iyo aakhiraba, waxaana idiinsugnaaday dhexdeeda waxay doonto Naftiinnu waxaadna ka helaysaan waxaad dalabtaan

We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]

نُزُلࣰا مِّنۡ غَفُورࣲ رَّحِیمࣲ ﴿٣٢﴾

Waana martiqaadka Eebaha dambi dhaafa ee Naxariista

As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful

وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ قَوۡلࣰا مِّمَّن دَعَاۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِی مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ ﴿٣٣﴾

yaa ka fiican hadal ruux ugu yeedhay (Dadka) Eebe xagiisa, oo camalfiican sameeyey, oo dhaha anigu waxaan ka mid ahay Muslimiinta

And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims

وَلَا تَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡحَسَنَةُ وَلَا ٱلسَّیِّئَةُۚ ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِی هِیَ أَحۡسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِی بَیۡنَكَ وَبَیۡنَهُۥ عَدَ ٰوَةࣱ كَأَنَّهُۥ وَلِیٌّ حَمِیمࣱ ﴿٣٤﴾

Mana eka Wanaag iyo Xumaan, reebna oo (bixi) arrinta fiican markaas waxaa soobixi in midkii col idin dhexyiil uu noqon sokeeye iyo saaxiib

And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend

وَمَا یُلَقَّىٰهَاۤ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَمَا یُلَقَّىٰهَاۤ إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِیمࣲ ﴿٣٥﴾

Lalamana kulmiyo arrintaas kuwii samrey mooyee, lalamana kulmiyo mid nasiib weyn leh mooyee

But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great portion [of good]

وَإِمَّا یَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ نَزۡغࣱ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ ﴿٣٦﴾

Hadduu ku waswaasiyo shaydaan xaggiisa waswaasiye ka magangal Eebe isagaa wax maqla waxna oge

And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِ ٱلَّیۡلُ وَٱلنَّهَارُ وَٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُۚ لَا تَسۡجُدُوا۟ لِلشَّمۡسِ وَلَا لِلۡقَمَرِ وَ̅ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅ا۟̅ ̅لِ̅لَّ̅هِ̅ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَهُنَّ إِن كُنتُمۡ إِیَّاهُ تَعۡبُدُونَ ﴿٣٧﴾

Aayaadka Eebe (jiridiisa iyo qudradiisa) waxaa ka mid ah Habeenka, Maalinta, Qorraxda iyo Dayaxa, ha u sujuudina Qorraxda iyo Dayaxa ee u sujuuda Eebaha abuuray haddaad tihiin kuwo (dhab) u caabudi

And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah, who created them, if it should be Him that you worship

فَإِنِ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ فَٱلَّذِینَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ یُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُۥ بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَهُمۡ لَا یَسۡءَمُونَ ۩ ﴿٣٨﴾

Haday iska kibriyaan (cibaadada) kuwa Eebahaa agtiisa ah way u tasbiixsadaan Habeen iyo Dharaarba kana noogin

But if they are arrogant - then those who are near your Lord exalt Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَنَّكَ تَرَى ٱلۡأَرۡضَ خَـٰشِعَةࣰ فَإِذَاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهَا ٱلۡمَاۤءَ ٱهۡتَزَّتۡ وَرَبَتۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَحۡیَاهَا لَمُحۡیِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرٌ ﴿٣٩﴾

Aayaadka Eebe waxaa ka mid ah inaad aragtidDhulkoo dulleysan (abaar ah) markaan ku soo dajinno Biyaha uu gilgisho soona kor noqdo, midka nooleeyey wuxuu nooleyn wixii dhintay wax walbana wuu karaa

And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُلۡحِدُونَ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِنَا لَا یَخۡفَوۡنَ عَلَیۡنَاۤۗ أَفَمَن یُلۡقَىٰ فِی ٱلنَّارِ خَیۡرٌ أَم مَّن یَأۡتِیۤ ءَامِنࣰا یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۚ ٱعۡمَلُوا۟ مَا شِئۡتُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِیرٌ ﴿٤٠﴾

Kuwa iilaya aayaadkanaga nagama qarsoona, ruux lagu tuuray Naarta miyaa khayrroon mise mid isagoo aamin ah imaan Qiyaamada, fala waxaad doontaan, Eebe waxaad faleysaan waa arkaa

Indeed, those who inject deviation into Our verses are not concealed from Us. So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do whatever you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱلذِّكۡرِ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَكِتَـٰبٌ عَزِیزࣱ ﴿٤١﴾

Kuwa ka gaaloobay Quraanka markuu u yimid (waa la abaal marin) waana Kitaab qaali ah

Indeed, those who disbelieve in the message after it has come to them... And indeed, it is a mighty Book

لَّا یَأۡتِیهِ ٱلۡبَـٰطِلُ مِنۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡهِ وَلَا مِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦۖ تَنزِیلࣱ مِّنۡ حَكِیمٍ حَمِیدࣲ ﴿٤٢﴾

Mana timaado xumaan hortiisa iyo gadaashiisa, (waa dhawran yahay) waana soo dajinta Eebaha falka san ee lamahdiyo

Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from a [Lord who is] Wise and Praiseworthy

مَّا یُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ قِیلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِن قَبۡلِكَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغۡفِرَةࣲ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِیمࣲ ﴿٤٣﴾

Lagumana dhaho waxaan ahayn waxii lagu yidhi Rasuuladii ka horreeyey, Eebahaana waadambi dhaafe ciqaab daran

Nothing is said to you, [O Muhammad], except what was already said to the messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is a possessor of forgiveness and a possessor of painful penalty

وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ قُرۡءَانًا أَعۡجَمِیࣰّا لَّقَالُوا۟ لَوۡلَا فُصِّلَتۡ ءَایَـٰتُهُۥۤۖ ءَا۬عۡجَمِیࣱّ وَعَرَبِیࣱّۗ قُلۡ هُوَ لِلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هُدࣰى وَشِفَاۤءࣱۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ فِیۤ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرࣱ وَهُوَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ عَمًىۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ یُنَادَوۡنَ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِیدࣲ ﴿٤٤﴾

Hadaan kayeelo «Kitaabka» Quraanka Cajami ah waxay dhihi lahaayeen maxaa loo caddayn waayey Aayaadkiisa, ma (quraan) Cajami ah iyo Nabi (Carabi ah) waxaad dhahdaa isagu kuwa rumeeyey wuxuu u yahay Haanuun iyo Caafimaad, kuwa aan rumeynina dhagahooda waxaa ah culays, waana ka indha la' yihiin kuwaasna waxaa looga yeedhi meel fog

And if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur'an, they would have said, "Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?" Say, "It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure." And those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ فَٱخۡتُلِفَ فِیهِۚ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةࣱ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِیَ بَیۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَفِی شَكࣲّ مِّنۡهُ مُرِیبࣲ ﴿٤٥﴾

Dhab ahaanbaan u siinay Nabi Muuse Kitaabka waana laysku khilaafay, haddayan jirin kalimo ka hormartay Eebahaa waa lakala xukminlahaa dhexdooda waxayna ku suganyihiin gaaladu shaki daran

And We had already given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt

مَّنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَسَاۤءَ فَعَلَیۡهَاۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّـٰمࣲ لِّلۡعَبِیدِ ﴿٤٦﴾

Ruuxi camalfiican fala wuxuu u falay Naftiisa, Ruuxii xumaan fala wuxuu dhibay Naftiisa, Eebaheena ma aha dulmiyaha Addoomada

Whoever does righteousness - it is for his [own] soul; and whoever does evil [does so] against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants

۞ إِلَیۡهِ یُرَدُّ عِلۡمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِۚ وَمَا تَخۡرُجُ مِن ثَمَرَ ٰتࣲ مِّنۡ أَكۡمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ وَیَوۡمَ یُنَادِیهِمۡ أَیۡنَ شُرَكَاۤءِی قَالُوۤا۟ ءَاذَنَّـٰكَ مَامِنَّا مِن شَهِیدࣲ ﴿٤٧﴾

Xagiisaana loo celiyaa ogida Saacadda (Qiyaame) midhana kama soobaxaan Sabuulkooda, mana uuroobo Dhadig mana dhalo ogaanshaha Eebe la'aantiiis, Maalintuu ku dhihi away kuwaad ila wadaajiseenna waxay dhihi waxaan ku ogaysiinnay Nagamidma aha Ruux marag furi arintaas

To him [alone] is attributed knowledge of the Hour. And fruits emerge not from their coverings nor does a female conceive or give birth except with His knowledge. And the Day He will call to them, "Where are My 'partners'?" they will say, "We announce to You that there is [no longer] among us any witness [to that]

وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یَدۡعُونَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَظَنُّوا۟ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِیصࣲ ﴿٤٨﴾

Waxaa ka dhumey waxay ahaayeen kuwo (baryo) caabuda horey, waxayna yaqiinsadeen inuusan u sugnaan gargaare

And lost from them will be those they were invoking before, and they will be certain that they have no place of escape

لَّا یَسۡءَمُ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ مِن دُعَاۤءِ ٱلۡخَیۡرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَیَءُوسࣱ قَنُوطࣱ ﴿٤٩﴾

Dadku kama daalo baryada khayrka, hadduu taabto sharra wuu quusasha badanyahay

Man is not weary of supplication for good [things], but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing

وَلَئِنۡ أَذَقۡنَـٰهُ رَحۡمَةࣰ مِّنَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ضَرَّاۤءَ مَسَّتۡهُ لَیَقُولَنَّ هَـٰذَا لِی وَمَاۤ أَظُنُّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَاۤئِمَةࣰ وَلَئِن رُّجِعۡتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّیۤ إِنَّ لِی عِندَهُۥ لَلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَلَنُذِیقَنَّهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ غَلِیظࣲ ﴿٥٠﴾

Haddaan dhadhansiinno naxariis xagganaga ka timid dhib taabtay kadib, wuxuu dhahaa kan anaa iska leh mana u maleeynaayo inay Saacadda (qiyaame) kici, haddii layceliyo Eebahayna waxaan ku leeyahay agtiisa wanaag, dhab ahaan baan ugu warranmeynaa kuwii Gaaloobey waxay camal faleen, waxaana dhabahaan u dhadhansiinaynaa Cadaab daran

And if We let him taste mercy from Us after an adversity which has touched him, he will surely say, "This is [due] to me, and I do not think the Hour will occur; and [even] if I should be returned to my Lord, indeed, for me there will be with Him the best." But We will surely inform those who disbelieved about what they did, and We will surely make them taste a massive punishment

وَإِذَاۤ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَءَا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَاۤءٍ عَرِیضࣲ ﴿٥١﴾

Markaan unicmeyno Dadka wuu jeedsadaa oo is dadbaa (daacadduu ka tagaa) markuu taabto dhibna wuxuu soo baxaa isagoo baryo badan

And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication

قُلۡ أَرَءَیۡتُمۡ إِن كَانَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرۡتُم بِهِۦ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنۡ هُوَ فِی شِقَاقِۭ بَعِیدࣲ ﴿٥٢﴾

Waxaad ku dhahdaa bal kawarrama hadduu Quraankani xaga Eebe ka yimid markaas aad ka Gaaloowdaan yaa ka baadi badan Ruux Gaalnimo iyo khilaaf fog ku sugan

Say, "Have you considered: if the Qur'an is from Allah and you disbelieved in it, who would be more astray than one who is in extreme dissension

سَنُرِیهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَا فِی ٱلۡءَافَاقِ وَفِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ یَتَبَیَّنَ لَهُمۡ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّۗ أَوَ لَمۡ یَكۡفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ شَهِیدٌ ﴿٥٣﴾

Waxaanu ku tusin aayaadkanaga jahooyinka iyo Naftooda intey uga caddaato inuu Quraanku xaq yahay, miyuuna ku filleyn inuu waxkaste ogyahay

We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness

أَلَاۤ إِنَّهُمۡ فِی مِرۡیَةࣲ مِّن لِّقَاۤءِ رَبِّهِمۡۗ أَلَاۤ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ مُّحِیطُۢ ﴿٥٤﴾

Waxayna Gaaladu kaga suganyihiin shaki lakulanka Eebe, Eebana waxkasta wuu koobay

Unquestionably, they are in doubt about the meeting with their Lord. Unquestionably He is, of all things, encompassing
