Surah Al-Muminoon سُورَةُ المُؤۡمِنُونَ

۞ قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿١﴾

Waxaa Dhab ahaan u Liibaanay Mu'miniinta

Certainly will the believers have succeeded

ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ فِی صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَـٰشِعُونَ ﴿٢﴾

Ah kuwa Salaaddooda ku Khushuuca

They who are during their prayer humbly submissive

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ ﴿٣﴾

Oo ah kuwa Hadalka Macno Darro ka Jeedsada

And they who turn away from ill speech

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِلزَّكَوٰةِ فَـٰعِلُونَ ﴿٤﴾

Oo ah kuwa Fala Zakada «bixiya»

And they who are observant of zakah

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَـٰفِظُونَ ﴿٥﴾

Oo ah kuwa Furuujtooda Ilaaliya

And they who guard their private parts

إِلَّا عَلَىٰۤ أَزۡوَ ٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَیۡرُ مَلُومِینَ ﴿٦﴾

Haweenkooda iyo waxay Hanatay Gacantoodu mooyee, lagurna Dagaalo Taas

Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَاۤءَ ذَ ٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ ﴿٧﴾

Ruuxiise Doona waxaad wax ka Soo Hadhay kuwaasu waa Xad Gudbayaal

But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِأَمَـٰنَـٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَ ٰعُونَ ﴿٨﴾

Waa kuwa Ammaanadooda iyo Ballankooda Dhawra

And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَ ٰتِهِمۡ یُحَافِظُونَ ﴿٩﴾

waana kuwa Salaadda Ilaaliya

And they who carefully maintain their prayers

أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡوَ ٰرِثُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

Kuwaasu waa kuwa Dhaxli

Those are the inheritors

ٱلَّذِینَ یَرِثُونَ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسَ هُمۡ فِیهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ﴿١١﴾

oo ah kuwa Dhaxli Firdowsa wayna ku Dhexwaari

Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِن سُلَـٰلَةࣲ مِّن طِینࣲ ﴿١٢﴾

Waxaan ka Abuuray Dadka wax laga soo Soocay Dhoobo

And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ نُطۡفَةࣰ فِی قَرَارࣲ مَّكِینࣲ ﴿١٣﴾

Markaasan ka yeellay Dhibic ku Jirta meel Sugan

Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging

ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَـٰمࣰا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَـٰمَ لَحۡمࣰا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَـٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقِینَ ﴿١٤﴾

Markaasaan ka Abuuray Dhibicdii Calaqo kana Abuuray Calaqdii Goosin, kana Abuuray Goosintii Lafo oon Huwinnay Lafihii Hilib Markaasaan ka ahaysinnay Khalqi kale, waxaa Khayr Badnaday Eebaha Abuurkiisu Fiicanyahay

Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم بَعۡدَ ذَ ٰلِكَ لَمَیِّتُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

Markaas Idinku Arrintaas ka Dib waad Dhimmaysaan

Then indeed, after that you are to die

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ تُبۡعَثُونَ ﴿١٦﴾

Markaas Maalinta Qiyaame Laydin soo Bixin

Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعَ طَرَاۤئِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلۡخَلۡقِ غَـٰفِلِینَ ﴿١٧﴾

Waxaana ku Abuuray Korkiinna Toddobo Samo mana nihin mid Khalqiga Halmaansan

And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءَۢ بِقَدَرࣲ فَأَسۡكَنَّـٰهُ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَـٰدِرُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Waxaan ka soo Dejinay Samada Biyo Qiyaasan, waxaana Dejinay dhulka inaan la Tagnana waan karraa

And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away

فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتࣲ مِّن نَّخِیلࣲ وَأَعۡنَـٰبࣲ لَّكُمۡ فِیهَا فَوَ ٰكِهُ كَثِیرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

Waxaana idinku Ahaysiinnay Beero Timir ah iyo Cinabyo oo Dhexdeed Khudaar Badani ku sugantahay ood wax ka Cuntaan

And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat

وَشَجَرَةࣰ تَخۡرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَیۡنَاۤءَ تَنۢبُتُ بِٱلدُّهۡنِ وَصِبۡغࣲ لِّلۡءَاكِلِینَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Iyo Geed ka Baxa Dhuur Siina oo soo saarta Subag iyo Koosaar kuwa Cuni

And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat

وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةࣰۖ نُّسۡقِیكُم مِّمَّا فِی بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ كَثِیرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

Waxaa idiinku Sugnaaday Xoolaha Waano, waxaana idinka Waraabinnaa waxa Caloosheeda ku Sugan waxaana idinku Sugan Manfaco badan, Xaggeedaadna wax ka Cuntaan

And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat

وَعَلَیۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Korkeeda iyo Markabka Korkiisa yaana laydinku Xambaaraa

And upon them and on ships you are carried

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَقَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ غَیۡرُهُۥۤۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

Waxaan u Dirray (Nabi) Nuux Qoomkiisii wuxuuna Yidhi Qoomkayow Caabuda Eebe idinma sugnaanin Ilaah ka soo Hadhaye, miyeydaan dhawrsanayn

And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him

فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ یُرِیدُ أَن یَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَـٰۤئِكَةࣰ مَّا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِیۤ ءَابَاۤئِنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ﴿٢٤﴾

Waxayna Dheheen Madaxdii Gaalowday oo Qoomkiisa ahaa kanu ma aha waxaan Dad idin la midah ahayn, wuxuuna doonayaa inuu idinka Fadilmo, Hadduu Doono Eebe wuxuu soo Dejinlahaa Malaa'ig, manaan ka Maqlin Arrintan Aabayaalkanagii Horeeyey

But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلُۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةࣱ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ حِینࣲ ﴿٢٥﴾

Ma aha waxaan Nin Waalan ahayn ee Suga Tan iyo Muddo, Geerida

He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِی بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ ﴿٢٦﴾

Wuxuu yidhi Eebow iiga Gargaar Beenintooda

[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me

فَأَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِ أَنِ ٱصۡنَعِ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ بِأَعۡیُنِنَا وَوَحۡیِنَا فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَمۡرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ فَٱسۡلُكۡ فِیهَا مِن كُلࣲّ زَوۡجَیۡنِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَا تُخَـٰطِبۡنِی فِی ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوۤا۟ إِنَّهُم مُّغۡرَقُونَ ﴿٢٧﴾

Waxaana u waxyoonay ku Samee Doon Ilaalintanada iyo Waxyiganaga, markuu yimaado Amarkanagu oo Burqado Tanuurku, Gali Doonta Nooc kastaba Labo Labo iyo Ehelkaaga Ciddii Hadal u Hor maray (Halaag) mooyee oo ka mid ah Haygulana Hadlin (Xaalka) kuwa Dulmiga falay iyaga waa la Maanshayne

So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned

فَإِذَا ٱسۡتَوَیۡتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ فَقُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِی نَجَّىٰنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ﴿٢٨﴾

Markaad Korto Adiga iyo inta kula Jirta Doonta waxaad Dhahdaan Mahad Eebaa iska leh ah kan iga koriyey Qoomka Daalimiinta ah

And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us from the wrongdoing people

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلۡنِی مُنزَلࣰا مُّبَارَكࣰا وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِینَ ﴿٢٩﴾

Waxaadna Dhahdaa Eebow I daji Guri la Barakeeyey Adaa u Khayrroon Dejiyee

And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us]

إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ وَإِن كُنَّا لَمُبۡتَلِینَ ﴿٣٠﴾

Arrintaasna waxaa ku Sugan Aayaad waxaana nahay kuwo wax Imtixaama

Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants]

ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِینَ ﴿٣١﴾

Markaasaan ahaysiinay Gadaashood Qarni kale

Then We produced after them a generation of others

فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا فِیهِمۡ رَسُولࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ غَیۡرُهُۥۤۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿٣٢﴾

Waxaana u Dirray Dhexdooda Rasuul ka mid ah Caabuda Eebe idiinma sugna Ilaah Eebe ka soo Hadhay ee Miyeydaan Dhawrsanayn

And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him

وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِهِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَاۤءِ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ وَأَتۡرَفۡنَـٰهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا مَا هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ یَأۡكُلُ مِمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ مِنۡهُ وَیَشۡرَبُ مِمَّا تَشۡرَبُونَ ﴿٣٣﴾

waxay Dheheen Madaxdii Qoomkiisa ee ah kuwii Gaaloobay oo Beeniyey la Kulanka Aakhiro oon ugu Raaxaynay Nolosha Dhaw, kani ma aha waxaan Dad idinla mid ahayn Cunina waxaad Cunaysaan, Cabbina waxaad Cabbaysaan

And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink

وَلَئِنۡ أَطَعۡتُم بَشَرࣰا مِّثۡلَكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذࣰا لَّخَـٰسِرُونَ ﴿٣٤﴾

Haddaad Adeecdaan Dad idila mid ah idinku waa Khasaarteen

And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers

أَیَعِدُكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ إِذَا مِتُّمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ تُرَابࣰا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَنَّكُم مُّخۡرَجُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

ma wuxuu idiin Yaboohi Markaad Dhimataan ood Noqotaan Carro iyo Lafo in laydin soo Boxin

Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]

۞ هَیۡهَاتَ هَیۡهَاتَ لِمَا تُوعَدُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

Waa Fogtahay oo Fogtahay waxa laydinku Goodin

How far, how far, is that which you are promised

إِنۡ هِیَ إِلَّا حَیَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡیَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡیَا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَبۡعُوثِینَ ﴿٣٧﴾

Ma aha waxaan Noloshanada Adduunyo ahayn, waanu Dhiman (Qaar) oonnu Noolaan (Qaar) kuwa la soo Bixinna ma Nihin

Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبࣰا وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَهُۥ بِمُؤۡمِنِینَ ﴿٣٨﴾

Mana aha waxaan Nin ku Been Abuurtay Eebe ahayn, mana nihin kuwo u Rumeyn

He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِی بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ ﴿٣٩﴾

Wuxuuna yidhi Eebow iiga Gargaar Beenintooda

He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me

قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِیلࣲ لَّیُصۡبِحُنَّ نَـٰدِمِینَ ﴿٤٠﴾

Wuxuu yidhi Eebe Mudda Yar ka Dib yey ahaan kuwo Nidaamooda

[Allah] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّیۡحَةُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُمۡ غُثَاۤءࣰۚ فَبُعۡدࣰا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ﴿٤١﴾

Waxaana ku Qabatay si Xaq ah Qaylo waxaana ka yeellay Daadxoor ee Fagaansho Haw Sugnaado Daaliminta

So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people

ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قُرُونًا ءَاخَرِینَ ﴿٤٢﴾

Markaasaan Ahaysiinay Gadaashood Quruumo kale

Then We produced after them other generations

مَا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا یَسۡتَءۡخِرُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

Kamana hor marto Ummadi Ajasheeda (Waqtigeeda) kamana Dib marto

No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter]

ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتۡرَاۖ كُلَّ مَا جَاۤءَ أُمَّةࣰ رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُۖ فَأَتۡبَعۡنَا بَعۡضَهُم بَعۡضࣰا وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُمۡ أَحَادِیثَۚ فَبُعۡدࣰا لِّقَوۡمࣲ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾

Markaasaan Diray Rasuullada nadii oo Israacsan markastooy Ummad u Yimaaddoo Rasuulkoodu waybeeniyaan, waxaana Raacsiinay Qarkood Qaar (Halaag) waxaana ka yeelay Sheeko Fogaanshaana u Sugnaaday Qoomaan (Xaqa) Rumeyn

Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe

ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَأَخَاهُ هَـٰرُونَ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ مُّبِینٍ ﴿٤٥﴾

Markaasaan la Diray (Nabi) Muuse iyo Walaalkiis Haaruun Aayadkanagii iyo Xujo Cad

Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority

إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِی۟هِۦ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوۡمًا عَالِینَ ﴿٤٦﴾

Xagga Fircoon iyo Jameecadiisii (yaana u dirray) wayna is kibriyeen waxayna ahaayeen Qoom is korraysiiya

To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people

فَقَالُوۤا۟ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لِبَشَرَیۡنِ مِثۡلِنَا وَقَوۡمُهُمَا لَنَا عَـٰبِدُونَ ﴿٤٧﴾

waxayna dheheen ma waxaanu u rumayn Labo ruux oo nala mid ah Qoomkooduna anaga na Caabudo

They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude

فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡلَكِینَ ﴿٤٨﴾

Wayna Beeniyeen waxayna Noqdeen kuwo la Halaagay

So they denied them and were of those destroyed

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَهۡتَدُونَ ﴿٤٩﴾

Waxaana Siinay (Nabi) Muuse Kitaabka inay Hanuunaan

And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥۤ ءَایَةࣰ وَءَاوَیۡنَـٰهُمَاۤ إِلَىٰ رَبۡوَةࣲ ذَاتِ قَرَارࣲ وَمَعِینࣲ ﴿٥٠﴾

Waxaana ka yeellay ina Maryamna iyo Hooyadiis Aayad waxaana u Dunnay Meel sare oo Sugnaansho iyo Biyo Socda leh

And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلرُّسُلُ كُلُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلطَّیِّبَـٰتِ وَٱعۡمَلُوا۟ صَـٰلِحًاۖ إِنِّی بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ عَلِیمࣱ ﴿٥١﴾

Rasuullow ka Cuna Xalaasha, Falana Wanaag, Anigu waxaad Falaysan waan Ogahaye

[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing

وَإِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦۤ أُمَّتُكُمۡ أُمَّةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمۡ فَٱتَّقُونِ ﴿٥٢﴾

Tanna waa Umaddiinii (Diinta) umad (Diin) kaliya anna waxaan ahay Eebihiin ee iga Dhawrsada

And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me

فَتَقَطَّعُوۤا۟ أَمۡرَهُم بَیۡنَهُمۡ زُبُرࣰاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَیۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ ﴿٥٣﴾

Waxayse y kala Goosteen Amarkooda Dhexdooda Kooxo, Xisbi kastana waxa Agtooda ah yey ku Faraxsanyihiin

But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing

فَذَرۡهُمۡ فِی غَمۡرَتِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِینٍ ﴿٥٤﴾

ee Isagaga Tag Halmaanshahooda Dhexdiisa Tan iyo Muddo

So leave them in their confusion for a time

أَیَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِۦ مِن مَّالࣲ وَبَنِینَ ﴿٥٥﴾

ma waxay u Malayn waxaannu Siin oo Xoolo iyo Caruur ah

Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children

نُسَارِعُ لَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰتِۚ بَل لَّا یَشۡعُرُونَ ﴿٥٦﴾

Inaanu u soo Hormarinay Khayraad wax ma Oga

Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ هُم مِّنۡ خَشۡیَةِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ ﴿٥٧﴾

kuwa uun Ka Cabsada Eebahood ka Yaabid

Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ یُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿٥٨﴾

kuwa uun Aayaadka Eebahood Rumeeya

And they who believe in the signs of their Lord

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ لَا یُشۡرِكُونَ ﴿٥٩﴾

kuwa uun Eebahood aan la Wadaajinin

And they who do not associate anything with their Lord

وَٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡتُونَ مَاۤ ءَاتَوا۟ وَّقُلُوبُهُمۡ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ رَ ٰجِعُونَ ﴿٦٠﴾

kuwa Bixin waxa la Siiyay Iyadooy ka Cabsan Quluubtoodu inay Xagga Eebe u Noqon

And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord

أُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ یُسَـٰرِعُونَ فِی ٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰتِ وَهُمۡ لَهَا سَـٰبِقُونَ ﴿٦١﴾

Kuwaasaa u deg degi Khayraadka una Hormarinay

It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein

وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ وَلَدَیۡنَا كِتَـٰبࣱ یَنطِقُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُونَ ﴿٦٢﴾

kuma Mashaqayno Naf waxayna karin, Agtanadana waxaa ah Kitaab ku Hadli Xaq, lamana Dulmiyo Iyagana

And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged

بَلۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ فِی غَمۡرَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَـٰذَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡمَـٰلࣱ مِّن دُونِ ذَ ٰلِكَ هُمۡ لَهَا عَـٰمِلُونَ ﴿٦٣﴾

waxayse kaga Sugantahay Quluubtoodu Halmaansho Xagga Kaas, waxayna Leeyihiin Camallo Kaas ka Duwan (oo Xun) oy iyagu u Camal Fali

But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing

حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَاۤ أَخَذۡنَا مُتۡرَفِیهِم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ إِذَا هُمۡ یَجۡءَرُونَ ﴿٦٤﴾

Markaanse ku Qabanno Kuwooda Nicmaysan Cadaab Markaasay Qaylyaan

Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help

لَا تَجۡءَرُوا۟ ٱلۡیَوۡمَۖ إِنَّكُم مِّنَّا لَا تُنصَرُونَ ﴿٦٥﴾

(Waxaana la Dhihi) ha Qaylyina Maanta Idinku Xagganaga Laydiin kama Gargaaree

Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped

قَدۡ كَانَتۡ ءَایَـٰتِی تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَكُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰۤ أَعۡقَـٰبِكُمۡ تَنكِصُونَ ﴿٦٦﴾

Waxay ahayd Aayaadkeygii Tii lagu Akhriyo Korkiinna waxaadse ahaydeen kuwa Cidhibtiinna Dib ugu noqda (Xaqa Diida)

My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels

مُسۡتَكۡبِرِینَ بِهِۦ سَـٰمِرࣰا تَهۡجُرُونَ ﴿٦٧﴾

Idinkoo isku Kibrin Quraanka (ama Kacbada iyo Nabiga) Cawaysimina idinkoo Hadal Xun

In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil

أَفَلَمۡ یَدَّبَّرُوا۟ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ أَمۡ جَاۤءَهُم مَّا لَمۡ یَأۡتِ ءَابَاۤءَهُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ﴿٦٨﴾

Miyeyna Fiirinin Quraanka, mise waxaa u Yimid Waxaan U imaanin Aabayaalkoodii hore

Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers

أَمۡ لَمۡ یَعۡرِفُوا۟ رَسُولَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ ﴿٦٩﴾

Mise waxayna Aqoonin Rasuulkooda oo ay Diidi

Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging

أَمۡ یَقُولُونَ بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۚ بَلۡ جَاۤءَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَـٰرِهُونَ ﴿٧٠﴾

Mise waxay Dhihi waa Waalanyahay, wuxuuse Ula Yimid Xaq Badankoodse Xaqay Nici

Or do they say, "In him is madness?" Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse

وَلَوِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ أَهۡوَاۤءَهُمۡ لَفَسَدَتِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِیهِنَّۚ بَلۡ أَتَیۡنَـٰهُم بِذِكۡرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِهِم مُّعۡرِضُونَ ﴿٧١﴾

Hadduu Raaco Xaqu Hawadooda waxaa Fasaadi Lahaa Samooyinka iyo Dhulka iyo waxa u Dhaxeeya, waxaanse Siinay Quraanka wayse ka Jeedsan quraanka

But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away

أَمۡ تَسۡءَلُهُمۡ خَرۡجࣰا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَیۡرࣱۖ وَهُوَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰزِقِینَ ﴿٧٢﴾

Mise waxaad warsan Kharaj (u Juuro) Ajirka Eebahaabaa Khayr Roon, waana kan u Khayr Badan Arzaaqe

Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers

وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ﴿٧٣﴾

Adiguna waxaad ugu Yeedhi Jid Toosan

And indeed, you invite them to a straight path

وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ عَنِ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطِ لَنَـٰكِبُونَ ﴿٧٤﴾

Kuwa aan Rumeyn Aakhiroona Jidka way ka lilan

But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path

۞ وَلَوۡ رَحِمۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَكَشَفۡنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرࣲّ لَّلَجُّوا۟ فِی طُغۡیَـٰنِهِمۡ یَعۡمَهُونَ ﴿٧٥﴾

Haddaan u Naxariisanno oon ka Faydno waxa haya oo Dhib ah waxay ku Madax Taagi Xumaantooda iyagoo ku Indho la

And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly

وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَـٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَمَا یَتَضَرَّعُونَ ﴿٧٦﴾

Waxaannu ku Qabanay Cadaab umana ayan Hogaansamin «Dulloobin» Eebahood umana Khushuucin

And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus]

حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا فَتَحۡنَا عَلَیۡهِم بَابࣰا ذَا عَذَابࣲ شَدِیدٍ إِذَا هُمۡ فِیهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ ﴿٧٧﴾

Markaan ku Furro Korkooda Cadaab Daran markaasay Quustaan

Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡءِدَةَۚ قَلِیلࣰا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ ﴿٧٨﴾

Eebe waa kan idiin Yeelay Maqalka, iyo Araga iyo Quluubta wax Yar baadna ku Shugriyeysaan (Eebe)

And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی ذَرَأَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَیۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ ﴿٧٩﴾

Eebe waa Kan idinka Abuuray Dhulka Xagiisaana laydiin soo Celina

And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی یُحۡیِۦ وَیُمِیتُ وَلَهُ ٱخۡتِلَـٰفُ ٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ﴿٨٠﴾

Eebe waa Kan wax Nooleeya, waxna Dila wuxuuna Leeyahay Iskhilaafka (Kala Duwaanta) Habeenka iyo Maalinta ee Miyeydaan Wax kasayn

And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason

بَلۡ قَالُوا۟ مِثۡلَ مَا قَالَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ ﴿٨١﴾

Waxayse Dheheen wax la mid ah waxay Dhaheen kuwii hore (Gaaladii)

Rather, they say like what the former peoples said

قَالُوۤا۟ أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ ﴿٨٢﴾

Waxay Dheheen Ma Markaan Dhimanno oon Noqonno Carro iyo Lafo Miyaa Anaga nala soo Bixin

They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَاۤؤُنَا هَـٰذَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ﴿٨٣﴾

Waa Naloo Yaboohay Aabayaalkanno kan (Soo Bixinta) horay mana aha kani waxaaan warkii hore ahayn

We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples

قُل لِّمَنِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِیهَاۤ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٨٤﴾

Waxaad Dhahdaa yaa leh Dhulka iyo waxa ku sugan haddaad wax Ogtihiin

Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know

سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿٨٥﴾

Waxay Odhan Eebe, waxaad Dhahdaa Miyeydaan wax Xusuusanayn

They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember

قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ ٱلسَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِیمِ ﴿٨٦﴾

Dheh waayo Eebaha Samooyinka Todobada ah iyo Eebaha Carshiga Wayn

Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne

سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿٨٧﴾

Waxay Odhan Eebe, Dheh Miyeydaan Dhawrsanayn

They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him

قُلۡ مَنۢ بِیَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُوَ یُجِیرُ وَلَا یُجَارُ عَلَیۡهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٨٨﴾

Dheh Yey yaddiisa ku Jirtaa Xukunka wax kasta, oo wax Magan Galiya, isna aan wax laga Magan galinayn, Haddaad wax Ogtihiin

Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know

سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسۡحَرُونَ ﴿٨٩﴾

Waxay Odhan Eebe, Dheh Xaggee Laydiin Sixri

They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded

بَلۡ أَتَیۡنَـٰهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ ﴿٩٠﴾

Waxaanse Siinay Xaq waana Beenaalayaal

Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars

مَا ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِن وَلَدࣲ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُۥ مِنۡ إِلَـٰهٍۚ إِذࣰا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَـٰهِۭ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا یَصِفُونَ ﴿٩١﴾

Ma yeelan Eebe Ilmo, mana aha Miciisa Ilaah (kale) Illeen markaas wuu la Tagi lahaa Ilaah walba wuxuu Abuuray, wuxuuna ka Kormari lahaa (Adkaan lahaa) Qaarkood Qaar, waxaa ka Nasahan Eebe waxay ku Tilmaami

Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]

عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ ﴿٩٢﴾

Waa Ogaha waxa Maqan iyo waxa Jooga, wuuna ka Sarreeyaa waxa la Wadaajin

[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]

قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِیَنِّی مَا یُوعَدُونَ ﴿٩٣﴾

Waxaad Dhahdaa Eebow Hadaad i Tusiso waxa Looyaboohay

Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised

رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِی فِی ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ﴿٩٤﴾

Eebow hayga Yeelin Qoomka Daalimiinta ah

My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people

وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰۤ أَن نُّرِیَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمۡ لَقَـٰدِرُونَ ﴿٩٥﴾

Annaguna inaan ku Tusinno waxaan u Yaboohnay waan Karraa

And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them

ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِی هِیَ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلسَّیِّئَةَۚ نَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَصِفُونَ ﴿٩٦﴾

ee Raaci (Dhaafso) Tan Wanaagsan Midda Xun Anagaa og Waxay Tilmaamiye (Sheegi)

Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنۡ هَمَزَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینِ ﴿٩٧﴾

Waxaadna Dhahdaa Eebow waxaan kaa Magangalay Waswaaska Shayaadiinta

And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن یَحۡضُرُونِ ﴿٩٨﴾

Waxaana kaa Magan Gali Eebow inay ii Yimaadaan Shayaadiintu

And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me

حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا جَاۤءَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱرۡجِعُونِ ﴿٩٩﴾

Markuu u Yimaaddo Midkood (Gaalada) Mawdku wuxuu Dhihi Eebow I celiya

[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back

لَعَلِّیۤ أَعۡمَلُ صَـٰلِحࣰا فِیمَا تَرَكۡتُۚ كَلَّاۤۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَاۤئِلُهَاۖ وَمِن وَرَاۤئِهِم بَرۡزَخٌ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُونَ ﴿١٠٠﴾

Waxaan u Dhawahay inaan Falo Wanaage waxaan ka Tagay, saas ma aha ee waa Hadal uu iska Yidhi Gadaashoodana waxaa ah Barzakh, tan iyo Maalinta la Soo Bixin

That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِی ٱلصُّورِ فَلَاۤ أَنسَابَ بَیۡنَهُمۡ یَوۡمَئِذࣲ وَلَا یَتَسَاۤءَلُونَ ﴿١٠١﴾

Marka la Afuufo Suurka ma Jiro Nasab Dhexdooda Maalintaas, waxna isma Warsadaan

So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another

فَمَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَ ٰزِینُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴿١٠٢﴾

Ciddayse Cuslaato Miisaankiisu (Wanaagga) kuwaasi waa kuwa uun Liibaanay

And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful

وَمَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَ ٰزِینُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤئِكَ ٱلَّذِینَ خَسِرُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فِی جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدُونَ ﴿١٠٣﴾

Ciddayse Fududaato Miisaankiisu kuwaasi waa kuwa Khasaariyey Naftooda Jahannamayna ku Waari

But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally

تَلۡفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَهُمۡ فِیهَا كَـٰلِحُونَ ﴿١٠٤﴾

Waxaana Gubi Wajigooda Naarta iyagoo Waji diiran

The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles

أَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَایَـٰتِی تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَكُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿١٠٥﴾

(Waxaa lagu Dhihi) Miyeyna ahayn Aayaadkanagu kuwa lagu Akhriyo Korkiinna ood Beenin Jirteen

[It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتۡ عَلَیۡنَا شِقۡوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوۡمࣰا ضَاۤلِّینَ ﴿١٠٦﴾

Waxay Dhahaan Eebow waxaa naga Adkaatay Xumaantanadii, waxaana ahayn Qaar Dhunsan

They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray

رَبَّنَاۤ أَخۡرِجۡنَا مِنۡهَا فَإِنۡ عُدۡنَا فَإِنَّا ظَـٰلِمُونَ ﴿١٠٧﴾

Eebow naga Bixi Xageeda Haddaan u Noqonana Anagaa Daalimiin ah

Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers

قَالَ ٱخۡسَءُوا۟ فِیهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ ﴿١٠٨﴾

Wuxuu Dhahaa Eebe ku Fogaada Dhexdeeda Idinkoo (Dullaysan) hana Ila Hadlina

He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡ عِبَادِی یَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَاۤ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَا وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰحِمِینَ ﴿١٠٩﴾

Waxaa Jirtay in Koox ka mid ah Addoomadayda ay Dhahaan Eebow waan Rumaynay Xaqa ee noo Dhaaf noona Naxariiso Adaa Naxariiste u Khayr Roone

Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful

فَٱتَّخَذۡتُمُوهُمۡ سِخۡرِیًّا حَتَّىٰۤ أَنسَوۡكُمۡ ذِكۡرِی وَكُنتُم مِّنۡهُمۡ تَضۡحَكُونَ ﴿١١٠﴾

Waxaadse ka Yeelateen Jees jees intay idinka Halmaansiiyaan xuskayga ood kuna Qoslayseen

But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them

إِنِّی جَزَیۡتُهُمُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡفَاۤئِزُونَ ﴿١١١﴾

Waan ka Abaal marinay Maanta Samirkoodii Dartiis, iyaga unbaana Liibaanay

Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]

قَـٰلَ كَمۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ عَدَدَ سِنِینَ ﴿١١٢﴾

Wuxuuna Dhihi Eebe imisa Sanaad ku Nagaateen Dhulka

[Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years

قَالُوا۟ لَبِثۡنَا یَوۡمًا أَوۡ بَعۡضَ یَوۡمࣲ فَسۡءَلِ ٱلۡعَاۤدِّینَ ﴿١١٣﴾

Waxayna Odhan waxaan ku Nagaanay Maalin ama Maalin Qaarkeed, warsada kuwa wax tiriya «Malaa'gta»

They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate

قَـٰلَ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰاۖ لَّوۡ أَنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿١١٤﴾

Wuxuu Yidhi Maydaan Nagaanin wax Yar Mooyee Haddaad wax Ogtihiin

He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known

أَفَحَسِبۡتُمۡ أَنَّمَا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ عَبَثࣰا وَأَنَّكُمۡ إِلَیۡنَا لَا تُرۡجَعُونَ ﴿١١٥﴾

ma Waxaad u Malayseen inaan Idiin Abuuray Ciyaar oon idinka Xagganaga loo soo Celinayn

Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned

فَتَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡكَرِیمِ ﴿١١٦﴾

Waxaa Sarreeya Eebaha Xaakimka Xaqa ah Ilaah aan isaga ahayna ma jiro Waana Eebaha Carshiga Sharafta leh

So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne

وَمَن یَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرۡهَـٰنَ لَهُۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ ﴿١١٧﴾

Ciddii Caabudda Eebe la Jirkiisa Ilaah kale oon Xujo lahayn Xisaabtiisu waa uun Eebe Agtiisa, mana Liibaanto Gaalo

And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed

وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ وَٱرۡحَمۡ وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰحِمِینَ ﴿١١٨﴾

Waxaad Dhahdaa Eebow Dhaaf oo Naxariiso adaa Naxariiste u Khayr Roone

And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful
